Hey gang! Today, we try a beer from the Counter Weight Brewing Company located in Cheshire, CT. This is their Coolship Kellerbier which is a kellerbier/zwickelbier and comes in at 4.9% abv. The description is as follows:
Continuing with our exploration of German brewing traditions we're happy to share our Coolship Kellerbier with you! Brewed with malts from Franconia to make a gentle sweet and bready character, and hopped in the coolship to provide an herbaceous balance we're really loving how this beer is drinking and are excited to be sharing it with you!

The age is usually my fault, but this time I'm going to blame the brewery. I purchased at the mid-end of January and never even looked at the date on the bottom. I figured it was fresh when purchased, so it would only have 3 months on it when I sent it to you in April, but I guess I was mistaken. Alas and cheers!
