When my town burned down in No. Cal. In 2015 in the valley fire..Calfire had helis...tankers...jets...the wind was 60 mph...couldn't even slow it ...we fled for. Our lives. . I now live in HI where it rains 200 inches a year. No fires.

People wouldn’t die if they had a 10meter perimeter around their homes with no fuel. Then we’d not have to pay for this service.

Has coulson looked into amphibious jet aircraft such as the Beriev Be-200?

It'll be a long time before we see Be-200s in the west again. Pretty unfortunate situation when it's such a fantastic aircraft for the job.

the fire challenge is everchanging characteristics....and although the Mars tankers were great....they were great "then".....today, we need better technologies, less maintenance costs etc...but it was a marvelous sight to see that baby come over the hill and do a drop.
