True, it would be illegal for them to permanently seize it, but they could have sold it to themselves on a new BTC wallet or sold it to someone directly. Probably dumped it though so their buddies could buy it at a major discount.

I think the thing that will limit how high Bitcoin goes is the greater understanding people have about the bitcoin cycle. Knowing that Bitcoin peaks briefly before dropping again, people are going to be looking to sell before the peak so they don't end up holding the bag. I think that will result in more people selling early than last time, and that will limit how high Bitcoin will go compared to how high it might've otherwise gone.

When we get this massive concentration like microstrategy and ETFs, though, that creates a potential future overhang for something. It's like a business that has a high percentage of its sales coming from one or a few customers. Any concentration increases risk. It's just simple math.

Are they getting their coins back? Or are they getting the cash value now it dropped? And black Rock buying them out?

Who says that that's the only allowed version of the plural? The central bitcoin language dictatorship institute? Language changes with use. What's the problem with calling a bitcoin quantity > 1 BTC (or even != 1 BTC) bitcoins? I don't see the problem. Everyone understands what is being meant, which is the most important part of language.

@@simonp6339 Exactly, language has meaning. Everyone doesn’t get to make up their own definitions or rules. Do your homework and you’ll find out what the proper usage is. The word Bitcoin is like the word deer, sheep or fish. You know whether it’s plural or not by how it’s used in a sentence. Look at that deer or look at those deer. Same word, singular and plural usage. Did you know that when you capitalize the “B” in Bitcoin(when it’s not at the start of a sentence) that represents the Blockchain, but when you see the lowercase “b” used for bitcoin, that represents the token. I didn’t make this stuff up. Do your homework and you’ll see it developed this way from the beginning.

​@@onehappydawg Did you know that both octopi and octopuses are accepted plurals of octopus? Both Cambridge and Merriam-Webster dictionary agree on this by the way. Same thing for cactus. Also staff (the musical one), plural is staves or staffs. So what makes bitcoin different from these words that the plural "bitcoins" cannot become accepted? Exactly, nothing. Dictionaries reflect usage. Do I prefer the plural bitcoin? Absolutely. I would probably never write bitcoins. But I don't think it's somehow a catastrophy to do so.
