These videos where you guys go and look at/ pick up projects are great. It's not all big money race cars or some restored show car, but something you want to take and put the time in to make your own. I know I appreciate that.

I seriously need to meet a woman like Erin. She’s always super nice when I’ve meet her at NPK. And she gets the bug. Not only does she humor your car addiction but she actually drives them too. Y’all make a great pair.

You can definitely tell that Shawn has paint and body experience! He was hitting all the right points of inspection!

Man, reminds me when i was a kid. My pops had a 79 Bronco to me it was a monster truck and it was Beautiful. Found one when i turned 23, rebuilt the engine ran into hard times and had to sell it. Damn I'd love to find one I'd never let it go this time. Awesome purchase 😎 Murder Nova

They are really hot in the market right now. A nice restored version is well into the six figures. Bet this one cost Shawn a pretty penny. A great ride and an even better investment.

How could you not love that BRONCO The green and white paint scheme is awesome for sure

Had a 79 Bronco that started off life as 300 six with a three speed on the tree. The first engine upgrade was a 302 out of a 71 Boss Mustang that had been wrapped around around a tree and split in two. After that I ditched the Tree-Speed in favor of 4 speed out of F150. While the thing ran good going down the road the little high reving 302 just didn’t have the balls to pull a blade of grass over much less pull it’s ass out of a mud puddle. So I went in search of a 460 and built that along with a C6 transmission and a clapped out F150 that had A/C and power Windows. It took a little while but I got all the parts and pieces and created the 79 Bronco Ford should have built 460, A/C, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Power Windows, Power Locks, Keyless entry and cruise control courtesy of a Lincoln Town car and power mirrors from a 1981 Bronco. Sadly a drunk driver ran a light and T-boned me and totaling my Bronco. I replaced it with a 91 Anniversary edition but like the 302 before the 351 in this one was ball-less as well and I shipped it down the road for a crew cab short bed F250

A buddy of mine had a 79 Bronco with a 351 Windsor in the black/orange paint scheme. We had some great times in that truck. I look forward to this build. That looks like a pretty clean truck too.

My dad always traded up some kind of bronco when I was a kid. I was always partial to the little early ones and he had some nice ones. Give peanuts for them back then and I wish he had kept a few. We had a nice 79 like this we took on a road trip and transmission went out on the interstate so backed about 4 miles down the shoulder and my mom was whooping and hollering. That was damn near 40 yrs ago and I still remember it and probably always will. It’s things like that which make project or play vehicles worth every dime. The time spent with people you love and the memories. Can’t go wrong even if you over pay today. The market and memories will catch up.

Love that you include ur family in everything you do and obviously don't act like ir better than most people just cause ur successful racer and on TV. I mean most of the 405guys are that way. Funny because the ones that act like they're better actually didn't make it long on the list or show 🤔

Hey, I grew up in a 79 Bronc my pops got one when I was 8. Camping, muddin prom, first blown Eng, , rear end and trans, my first time back seat fun😉, 35 years later it’s still a rollin. Great rig for baseball practice 👍

Ive got a 78 bronco had the square lights in it but i changed it to the round looks cooler to me i also took the rear inside panels out of a 95 bronco and put them in got the arm rest and 6x9 speaker covers and rear side pockets

I had a '78 trailer package special.factory dual frt shocks & roll bar.it was a bad azz.but always had trouble with rust above rear wheels & tail gate.mine was chocolate brown w/ gold flake and white panels

Broncos and other trucks back in the good ol' days are still better than today's SUVs.

My uncle had a 79.too and it came with a 400 m in it. Well he killed that motor amd put a built 60 over 460 with forged internals in it and it would jump up hills and go thru mud with ease. . It was a monster and it was two tone silver and black

My old man had a bronco just like that in 79. Bought it brand new. Had the smaller chrome mirrors and white spoked wheels. Other than that. It was identical to this one.

My dad had a 78. Red and white. I have owned of them. If you didn't take it I would drive out today from new York and take it. Awesome brother

Nice old bronco. My uncle bought one new hen I was a kid white with red guts. I am a gm nut but those Fords are nice. We had a 3/4 with 460 I grew up driving.

oh yeah would love to see you get the bronco i have a 1978 i am restoring same color scheme, I have a 400 bored 30 over edelbrock cam and intake kit ,summit headers and a rebuilt c6 with b& m shift kit and a tci 3 ,000 stall in it, posi track front and back 3.50 gears and has t-meyers flat top pistons and been balanced, its gonna be a beast when done
