You could make a case, and many on this channel have, that Silver Surfer, using cosmic awareness and not holding back, could beat the League. You did the League Vs. the Annihilators, and the Annihilators won, so there is no way the JL is coming out on top unless the writers want Galactus to job. However, a far more fun fight that I've been asking about is the Heralds of Galactus Vs. the JL. You'd have to give the JL a full compliment because the Heralds are no joke.

Yeah Galactus takes this no diff. He has to be already on the brink of death for them to beat him, he’s a fundamental force of the marvel universe. He’s been stated that he can absorb the entire Omniverse from the inside out. They can’t physically hurt him, they can’t beat him with magic. Galactus survived the birth of the Universe and the Big Crunch which is the opposite of the Big Bang. His fight with Squire and the Other, they destroyed multiple universes and threatened the entire multiverse. They were Multiversal reality warpers, He basically has every power in the book and the earths hero’s or even all the hero’s of the universe are nothing to him.

OK, to be be honest, although a lot of Marvel fanboys are going to hate me for saying this, Superman is enough. not regular Superman, he would get beaten easy but once Superman sun-dips himself, that's enough to stop Galactus. I mean, sun-dipped Superman was able to legit one shot the Anit-Monter a guy who destroys universes, I mean Galactus just eats planets, not universes. The Anti-Monter eats universes like how Galactus eats planets and if sun-dipped Superman can one shot him... well, let's just say that Galactus will meet someone who can beat him one-on-one. Only in this respect the Justice League wins, once Superman sun-dips himself it's game over.

Agreed. Anyone who knows even an ounce about Superman can tell that Supes is just broken on another level. Without kryptonite, there is nothing that can stop him, except perhaps the plot. Not Superman, the amount of godly entities and multiversal beings he's taken down proves he's more then a match physically, and don't forget... he can't be erased from existence, the DC cosmology has reached a point now that entire timelines literally centre around him, granted the ultimate nullifier can erase timelines, but current day Superman is just too op that he'd speed blitz before Galactus could even think to use the nullifier. Even if he did, others like The Time Trapper, Mr. Mxzyspitlic and even Dr. Manhattern couldn't erase him. Superman has become so powerful that space time has lost all meaning to him, he can defy the laws of physics and effectively bend them to any way he sees fit. Galactus an't doing nothing to him.

Imperiex is a better analogue for Galactus than Anti-Monitor. That said, both of them were 'all heroes on deck' fights, not just the JLA.

Only with the help of Luthor, Mr. Terrific, and Batman. Of course, Superman could contact Mr. Mxyzptlk, too.

The JL couldn't deal with them on their own, and Batman would have a device for communicating with an equally powerful cosmic entity on Galactus's level. Galactus could use his telepathy to get Superman or Martian Manhunter to be his heralds in their universe to help him out if he wants.

People saying that the heralds of Galactus would take the League need their heads examined. Orion almost beat the Surfer one on one, and Darkseid permitted the Surfer. Superman has singlehandedly defeated Darkseid, so he's whopping the Surfer. As for the rest of the League, Wonder Woman, Flash, Aquaman (YES, Aquaman, who's almost as strong as Wonder Woman), Green Lantern, and Martian Manhunter can take them in various combinations, with Superman lending a hand here and there. And if Captains Marvel and Atom are also part of the mix? It's OVER for the heralds, FAST. Captain Atom ALONE could take the Surfer, let alone any of the other heralds. The only way the heralds win is if Superman, Herald of Galactus (see "Superman/Fantastic Four) shows up. Then it's over for EVERYONE.

Id say maybe trick Galactis into entering darksides realm itd be interesting to say the least

If I remember correctly, The JLA couldn't beat Terminus. They had to trick him into shooting himself with his staff. With out some type of external device(Untimate Nullifier) OR a "God Blast" level attack, Galacus wins easily & forces Superman to become his herald...Again.

One thing I never understood about Galactus is that if he needs to consume Celestial bodies for energy, then why doesn't he just straight up consume black holes & or stars?

Why not just use your typical plot armor. Give Batman prep time, and he’ll beat Galactus. 🤣

No, all of this is ridiculous. Unless you are grabbing a team like Justice League Detroit, the JL wins. At a minimum, drives back the threat the same way that the Fantastic Four beat him way back when. Surfer has managed to beat Kyle, who was new to the Green Lantern ring at the time. He's not taking the entire League, ever. At most, he's going to take a few heavy hitters out of the fight. Zero if the heavy hitter is Supes.

Superman is actual one the highest intellects in DC and its not explored alot.

Superman is a liability in any fight with Galactus, the more powerful the Superman the more a liability he is to his teammates. Galactus, a master if there ever was one, of manipulating & consuming energy vs. a solar battery. Superman is 100% a liability against Galactus
