@@lawrencekling8598 Those are still considered Omicron variants. I am suggesting that it will be bad if a new more deadly variant comes out of all of these exposures. I know Omicron gets past the booster shots. I had Covid in 2020, before the vaccine. I have two boosters, but no Omicron booster. I just got over my second case of Covid this December. Luckily, it was way more mild this time. Having this virus get the opportunity to run through a billion new people is definitely going to lead to more variants.

It's Gotta be back I have covid now. Getting better though. Had a sore throat that felt like knife in my throat and felt like fire too. My first experience with covid-19 🤒 2023. Still got a cough though. But sore throat was the most painful annoying system ever. I started off with fevers and chills. Small body aches.

Plot twist: The pandemic ended a year ago, maybe more and anyone still freaking out about it is either just being paranoid or still trying to leverage it as a mechanism to assert control or gain power.

Once bitten twice shy. It's understandable Italy n some oth countries conducts covid test on travellers from China. CCP foreign spokesperson should not says its discriminatory. Its every right of the inbound countries, likewise China can do so on inbound travellers to China. Because of lack of transparency n comprehensive covid data from China sharing to WHO n rest of the world makes these countries implement the covid test.

Same with me got it February 15th and tested positive feb 18th. I did not think much of it on the 15th. But I did know something was wrong cuz I had the chills I was feeling cold in that wasn't a normal cold shaking. I thought it was possible I was coming down with the flu but I wasn't. When a sore throat came on I thought it was strep throat cuz throat was throbbing feeling like a knife and burning 🔥. So I wanted to get tested for strep throat but my mom said I need to get tested for covid 1st so I did and I was tested positive.

I'm relieved it's finally receding; the last 3 years have been a collective trauma. Hopefully after the latest wave passes in China it'll peter out globally enough. Having survived it myself I'm fortunate enough to have been vaccinated and get Paxlovid. I feel lessons won't be learned and we'll forget the dead, but I hope some won't, their lives mattered. I hope to see more memorials though that aren't as morbid though like the Italian one.
