That final duel was indeed tense. Just when you think it's over... it's not. Just like the anime, haha!

"F**k you, Wheeler!!" almost made me park my car, laughing. This duel was better than the Duelist Kingdom battle.

Great video, except for one small thing. Phoenix gearfried cannot negate counter traps. So when it negated, negate attack, that should be an illegal move!

Yeah I actually had to look up Negate Attack just in case my memory was bad and it was a normal trap all these years. Not exactly a commonly seen card anymore.

These duels are legitimately so much more fun than any modern day meta duels. These have character

LMAO. I love the ending. That last game was very intense. Seemed like Paul was losing it toward the end lol.

The third duel was legitimately fantastic. Like, it went on and on, but in the best possible way. Pulling out all the stops, fanservice with the original dragons against each other, the banter... It's like if the anime people wanted to write a duel between a modern Kaiba and Joey, both in trash talk and absolutely in how the duel would go. Like, I could see Joey using a Scapegoat against a Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon. And as a side, I noticed the Scapegoat Tokens used had two Yugis. I hope this means what I think it does; that y'all got THREE Legendary Decks II and plan to combine cards from 3 copies of each deck to actually make good decks from them for future vids!

That scapegoat play was crazy 🤣

Your guys's trash talking is on point! This might be a little bit cheesy, but I think it might be interesting to see you guys duel with kaiba and Yugi's decks from the pyramid of light movie. You might have to make some substitutions cuz some of those cards don't actually exist, but still might be fun

My Best friend and I had many situations where I was about to blast him into the next dimension and he plays a counter like Eacape goat to live lol! I thought of some names for future Red Eyes support. They just need effects. I wish pure Red Eyes was competitive. BE and DM support have way more than RE. Their support is just 🤌 compared to RE. RE needs more consistency. Re doesn't know what it wants to do. Mostly they've focused on equip cards, gy, searching recycling, burn damage and boosting ATK from GY. Red Eyes Potential (Continuous spell) Red Eyes Fury (Counter Trap) Red Eyes Revenge (Counter Trap) Destroy all monsters on your opponent's side of the field and inflict damage equal to half of each monster's ATK. Red Eyes Salvation (Trap) Red Eyes Sovereignty (Field Spell) Red Eyes Remedy (Quick play Spell) Destroy all monsters on your opponent's side of the field and gain life points equal to half of each monsters ATK. Red Eyes Repayment (Trap) Search your deck and discard up to 3 cards from your deck to the GY and search and banish up to that many cards from your opponent's deck. Red Eyes Retaliation (Trap) Swap the ATK and DEF values of all monsters on your opponent's side of the field and one "Red Eyes" you control gains ATK according to their difference. Vengeance of the Red Eyes (Spell) Reckoning from the Black Dragons (Trap) Rise from Ashes (Continuous Trap) Activate only when a "Red Eyes" monster is destroyed by battle and sent to the Graveyard. Special Summon that monster to your side of the field in the same battle position it was in when destroyed. Equip a "Red Eyes" monster from your GY to it and get it gains 600 ATK. When it would be destroyed, destroy that card instead. Banish this card from the GY and draw 1 card. Descent into Darkness (Continuous Spell) Your opponent's monsters lose 600 ATK for each monster you control and your monsters gain 400 ATK for each monster in your GY. Your opponent cannot activate their monster's effects in the turn they're summoned. Red Eyes Refusal (Counter Trap) When your opponent activates effects in response to any of your cards or summoning you can negate their activation and if it is a hand trap place that card in your hand and if they are spell/trap set on your opponent's side of the field set those cards on your side of the field. Inflict 2000 to your LP for using this effect. It can only be used once per turn. When the Smoke Clears (Quick Play Spell) The first time any "Red Eyes" monster you control would be destroyed by card effects or battle, it is not. Black Dragon Dominance (Continuous Spell) Warriors of the Red Eyes (Spell) Machines of the Red Eyes (Spell) Wizards of the Red Eyes (Spell) Fisherman of the Red Eyes (Spell) Crimson Soul (Continuous Trap) Your opponent cannot target "Red Eyes" in your Monster Zone with card effects. If this face-up card is sent from the Spell & Trap Zone to the GY: Destroy a "Red Eyes" monster you control and you take damage equal to its original ATK. You can only use the following effect of "Crimson Soul" once per turn. You can activate 1 of these effects; • Special Summon 1 "Red Eyes" monster from your hand or GY ignoring it's summoning conditions. • Set 1 Spell/Trap directly from your Deck, that specifically lists "Red Eyes" in its text, with a different name from the cards you control and in your GY. Using all of its strategies working together with things that help keep them on the field and defend against modern cards.

I've played red eyes here and there on a couple of games and it's actually pretty fun and good. You can get your deck so there's basically multiple red eyes on the field at all times.

This and the previous video were really fun to watch. Music is great and seeing the classic cards is the best!

That was a fun match! The last round was intense and even got the dragons staring each other down. Both normal and fusion dragons at that! The Scapegoat reaction was hilarious. 😂

This channel is inspiring me buy and collect physical cards again. So I bought this legendary duelist box set at my local Walmart today. Felt good buying cards again. The only thing I hated is that I can’t look at the cards up close anymore, Walmart (at least the one in my area) blocks access to them, so I have to wait for a Walmart employee to hand be the boxes up close to check them out. Just how it goes these days I guess.

Paul’s face cam aspect ratio is cursed and it’s really funny

I'll get served a Team APS video every once in a while and almost always watch it. The more videos I get through the more I realize Paul must be protected at all costs. Hearing Paul use "Duelist" during battle really just sets off my nerd radar and I love it. The whole crew really does a good job reeling in non Yu-Gi-Oh players.

Loved the duels. There was a misplay at 25:02 : Azure-Eyes on Summon effect states "until the end of the _next_ turn [...] they cannot be destroyed by card effects." The effect was still lingering and given that Torrential Tribute is a destruction effect, yeah... I mean, we expect Joey to make such a beginner mistake, but Paul's Kaiba role play was slipping there ;) Blue-Eyes has some really nice surprises in its deck. Having people lose to Blue-Eyes because they don't read your cards is incredibly satisfying.

Red eyes needs an ultimate dragon fusion and a twin burst fusion that isn't doodoo butter.

As a red eyes player i was pulling my hair out at some of the plays Alec was making, but at the same time this was a very fun duel with loads of twists.

That was a really epic duel! Not surprising to see blue eyes deck ended up brute forcing the win. The guilty gear korean ost is the cherry on top.
