As soon as Hugo tells him he knows that he’s Peter Parker, the gloves can come off right then and there. He’s definitely strong enough to break out, whoop Strange and his guards, and leave. Stopping Strange from leaking his identity would be the next problem though for sure, unless Ra’s just kills him for his failure before Strange can leak it.

As far as Spidey knows in that scene, Joker's dead and Harley's the only other person there. Even if spidey sense goes off, it's possible he wouldn't be able to recognize what the danger is in time to stop it (also precedented.)

I think the most important question would be if he even would be infected by the joker, since I’d imagine with spider-sense he’d be able to sense Joker and avoid being knocked out He’d likely still end up needing to get the cure, since he’d still need to prevent the city from being poisoned I also think he’d have an easier time with freeze than you think, it’d still be tough but he’d likely choose to try using brute force to knock out freeze, since with his agility, spider-sense and strength he could easily just rush freeze and take him down I’m also wondering if you’ll go over how spidey would deal with the Harley Quinn’s revenge DLC

@@jacobgonzalez2002 well for one, unlike Batman freeze wouldn’t be able to hinder Spider-Man’s movement, the most he may be able to affect is the web wings which wouldn’t really affect much in the fight anyways For two, spider-man is far stronger than Batman, so instead of needing to get multiple hits in, he’d really just need one good hit to take down freeze And for three, as far as I can tell at least there’s nothing stopping spider-man from just catching freeze off guard and taking his weapon, it’s something he can and does do to enemies in the insomniac games and there doesn’t seem to be anything stopping him from doing the same to freeze

Spidey has dodged Lightning and Lasers in the insomniac verse so running loops around Freeze shouldn't be an issue like Arkham Batman has Trouble against Basic Guns in straight up confrontation Which is why He relies on Stealth against armed enemies and Stronger enemies like Freeze. Spidey can easily take down armed enemies with Rocket launchers. It honestly isn't as Hard as You think. Spidey takes him Mid diff at most

I've said it before but I truly think that City might just be the easiest of the Arkham games for Spider-Man to overcome, at least next to Origins maybe. Most of the villains would be pretty easy for him to beat, minus Clayface, who he can beat like Sandman anyway. The biggest threats to him would be the mental ones, which is why Asylum and Knight would be difficult for him. The onlh mental threat Batman faces in City was due to Joker's blood, which Spider-Man would likely never get infected with due to Joker not having a way to take him off guard and injecting him.

And I really think clayface would be on the level of Pre-Spider-Man 2 Sandman. The Clay Minions might be equal to the Marko Clones. So I'd say difficulty would be only slightly above Mr. Freeze.

These videos are extrenly generous to the arkham verse. Miles and peter effortless drstroy anything in ghese games. Unironically one encounter eith thr average enemy in thr insomiac games would arguably be harder than most battles in the arkham verses

I think I can make several arguments for Insomniac Spider-Man getting through Arkhamverse. It really says something that his biggest threats are the mental villains and even then he broke free of Mr Negative's mind fuckery which is mystical and stronger. Spiderman also has a much higher resistance to poison with how dealy Scorpion's was and he survived FAR longer than any human would have and that was a few dozen brokwn bones after he was jumped by his strongest villains and electrocuted.

Not only do I think he'd survive, but I think that he would do better than Bruce. Two big reasons is that there are so many instances of Batman having the hack through a door where is Spider-Man is strong enough to smash through and then obviously he'd be able to climb Wonder Tower significantly faster as well.

Without watching this I will say: Yes. Spidey can survive Arkham City with ease.

I know Spider-Man: Arkham City Part 2 would be Black Cat taking on Catwoman's missions, but I'd be interested to see how Miles would handle the "Harley Quinn's Revenge" DLC after Arkham City's story. I'm excited to see how Spider-Man: Arkham Origins & Arkham Knight would play out, too!

Soon as Spider-Man gets in Arkham City he breaks the handcuffs, takes out all the guards. Swings and climbs on top of Wonder Tower, breaks through the window and takes out Strange and all the guards in the tower and Ra’s if he has to.

I can definitely see peter blaming himself for Joker's death, but i'm sure MJ and Miles Would be there to comfort him and tell him that there wasn't anything he could have done to save him and that he was already one foot in the grave. Harley would still definitely blame him and call him a murderer which will add to Peter's guilt. Anyway, if you do a harley quinn's revenge with Miles, I'm definitely looking forward to it.

Spider-Man actually destroys this challenge, people forget that Peter is a world class scientist with regenerative abilities that deal with toxins and diseases more effectively than Batman’s immune system would. Peter’s spider sense also means he doesn’t get hit more than a total of ten times by mild attacks in this entire game

The fact of the matter is so many of Spider-man's are not only analogous but strait upgrades to Batman villains. Sandman is Clayface but he can be a kaiju, Green Goblin is the Joker with better tech and super strength, Mystirio is Scarecrow with robotics and more versatile tactics, Vulture is Killer Moth but not Useless, and so on. All of Spider-man's experience Gotham villains have never faced anyone like Spider-man. Sure there's physically strong guys like Killer Crock, Bane, and Grundy, stealthy guys like the bat family, and no shortages of geniuses with wacky inventions. But to combine all that and then add ridiculous agility and the broken spider seance would completely change the game. Yes 3/5 times DC characters are stronger than their Marvel counterpart, but batman is still only human despite what the prep time fallacy would have you believe.

One question - would the Joker's infected blood even work on Peter since he already lives with irradiated blood from the spider bite and has a healing factor? Peter's healing factor isn't as good as Deadpool, Wolverine or Hulk's, but it should still be strong enough to ward off the Joker's infection entirely. Yes, in the comics, Peter has still been susceptible to illness and hangovers in extremely high dosage, but I don't think the Joker's blood would be toxic enough to pose a real threat to Peter. I think Peter would just do the campaign out of altruism.

Honestly I think Peter's radioactive Spider-Blood may counter Joker's toxin. Batman is only human so he doesn't have those capabilities. Peter does.

My right ear loved this video. Nah but really, a neat video. Don't really know why you didn't give him Anti-Venom but gave him everything else across the games, seems a pointless nerf. Granted, what buff it gives him was not necessary. I assume by the very immediate situation of him still being infected that this is much more of a, "If he was put through the exact same story beats, how would he do?" instead of a more legitimate What-If take on how he would do in Arkham. I say this because... well there's no way Spidey actually gets got by the Joker. His Spider-Sense is one thing, but he'd also probably just not be standing right there ready to be grabbed, he'd be on a wall or the roof, hanging out like a Spider, and would be way harder to grab, never mind grab by surprise. He'd also just swing up to Hugo, dodge through turret and sniper fire, and end it before going through any other villains. Anywho. The first thing I have to consider as odd is Ra's. Partly because Kraven was massively superhuman, able to restrain the Scorpion one-handed, rip off his tail with similar ease, stop Spidey's punch, and even go toe-to-toe with Black Suit and Venom and put up a decent fight. Kraven's way more than just raw skill. And in terms of pure, raw skill we have Taskmaster... who, actually, Spidey completely clowned on, quipping the entire way and winning with no issues despite Taskmaster's tech and immense skill. I feel like Ra's would be easier than he is made out to be - not AS easy, if Spidey had to get drugged up in order to do the trials and face him. That might interfere with his Spider-Sense. If it doesn't though, he'd be easier than Taskmaster, because he doesn't have the same specialised equipment and he doesn't know everything Spidey could try. Keep in mind that Taskmaster wasn't a threat despite his skill, and Kraven wasn't a threat BECAUSE of his skill. On top of that, in the first game when Mister Negative attempts to mind-control Spidey, while it's a whole gameplay section that lasts about 10-15 minutes and also PERSONALLY tortures him with his own failures, unlike the Lazarus Pit's sort of generic nightmares, outside in the real world he broke out of the power and the hallucinations near instantly. You can see from the landscape from just before and just after the hallucination that they've barely got a few meters up the road before he breaks out, and they're in a speeding truck. So I have to disagree with Ra's being as daunting a problem as he is made out to be. I also HILARIOUSLY DISAGREE with Freeze. I don't understand why people think he would be a massive problem. His ice gun isn't faster than regular bullets which Pete can dodge eyes closed, and every time I see people talk about how durable his suit is, they also show the clip of Batman punching right through the helmet. Yes he's worn it down with three or four 15-20 hit combos, but do any of us seriously believe for a second that about 50-60 hits from Bats can't be matched by one or two punches from Spidey? He'd punch the glass once, crack it, realise how hard it is, hit it a second time, and boom. Freeze is huge and bulky and slow, Peter would just flip over onto his shoulders, bust his helmet, and KO him. Even poisoned and weak, consider that half the cutscenes we see with Spidey dodging Electro's lightning are also the same cutscenes where he has over a dozen broken bones and has been fighting nonstop. Clayface may be the only person who would actually put up a fight, purely if he doesn't have ice, and is also the only one that could hurt him by trying to restrict and suffocate him, as many of the others just don't have the power needed to deal solid damage, or are far too slow to use it. But if he has ice, he's way faster than batman and has way more verticality in his moveset, so Clayface goes down. Him being weakened, practically speaking, doesn't change how well he performs against any of the AC villains from how high his power is naturally.

no problems at all honestly, he would breeze through it rather quickly: - I don't see Hugo capturing him even as Peter, Peter wouldn't make a publicity stunt in front of Arkham City like Bruce, though I do see him getting inside Arkham City to shut it down. He is smart enough to find a way inside with his Spider-powers. I can see Hugo knowing who he is would bother him a bit but he would pull it together - I don't see Joker infecting him, even if he did get captured I really don't know if the Titan blood would make him sick as his own innate healing factor is enough to fight of vampirism in the comics so Joker's Titan blood might not even effect him (Insomiac is apparently a 1:1 scale to comic Spidey) - Penguin I feel would come to hate Spidey for his constant jokes and the fact he seems to be unstoppable. Grundy would be fun, but once he realizes he is a zombie I don't see Spidey holding back (which would be a small treat to see Insomiac Spidey actually cut loose once) I don't see him destroying the generators, I see Spidey just outright destroying Grundy (tease Peter's darker side for a bit here, have him frustrated he couldn't save all of the cops and it's clouding his judgement here and make Penguin scared shitless after seeing this would be different to) - I see him working with Mr. Freeze to make a cure for Joker. I can see Freeze taking a liking to Spidey given that he is much more reasonable then Batman that fight wouldn't occur. I can see Freeze taking a small liking to Spidey's jokes as well and even come to make some of his own overtime. Let him join Spidey on the comms to just for fun and give him some of his comic inspired ice webbing, maybe even have him build Spidey his own suit even as a side quest reward - He would encounter Ra's but have it so Freeze knows of Ra's and sends Spidey after some of his blood, Ra's would be his toughest fight but 0 difficulty for Spidey if Bat's can take him with minimal effort, Spidey didn't struggle with Taskmaster and beat him twice and Insonmiac Kraven seems to be significantly stronger the Arkham Ra's. I do see Spidey helping Freeze find Nora, unlike Batman, Spidey isn't a stand-offish dick and would feel for him. As fast as Spidey can move and as small as Arkham City is, he would find her rather quickly. Miles wouldn't show up but over comms Peter would tell him Joker infected the city with his infected blood and to get to work. Spidey would take care of Talia here as well incapacitating her and convincing her to leave, have his anger starting to peak again, the Batman villains don't pose a physical threat but they will get to Peter's mind due to there disregard f or human life. - I see Harley still getting the cure while Spidey is off finding Nora so at Freeze's request, he goes off after Harley to take down a presumably cured Joker after finding Nora. His Spidey Sense wouldn't fall for the fake Joker and he would sense something is off and Clayface would have to break the act to avoid being steamrolled. Spidey still takes him down due to taking out Sandman on his in the past and they are similar (Sandman being more dangerous in all honesty as we see in Spider-Man 2 and I see Spidey being gifted Freeze grenades which I see him turn into Ice Webbing impressing Freeze in the process) With the Joker act up, I see Joker escaping as Protocol 10 would begin. Have him get trapped but he pushes the rubble off of himself eventually - I see Hugo going down rather quickly, I could also see him disabling/destroying the helicopters as well with his brute strength to save as many as he can. He doesn't need access codes when he can suplex Semi-trucks and bicep curl gigantic construction cranes he can just simply rip doors open if he needs inside or in this case swing up to the top of the tower. I do see him being bothered by Hugo's death, he would put together that Ra's would be revived with the Lazurus pit like he saw earlier - Spidey would learn Joker is still in Arkham City and never escaped so he sticks around to find him does so and during the encounter, Spidey gets pissed at Joker for his casual disregard for human life (have Joker casually killing political prisoners) and accidently hit him without pulling a punch, flat out killing Joker, let's say Spidey's rage filled punch just literally goes right through Joker's head with no effort and have Harley witness it, even have some of Joker's brains splatter her face. For Harley's revenge, have Peter don a black version of his suit Black Cat made him and he wears that one in the aftermath, much to MJ's annoyance that he kept a gift from his ex and is actively wearing it. Have him be moodier due to him accidentally killing Joker, have Peter still carrying the glove he killed Joker with and is refusing to clean it, have Joker's blood still stained on the white knuckles. Spidey goes into get Harley and finds her quick enough but is caught off guard, have Harley donning the Symbiote suit, lets say Hugo ended up getting his hands on it and was researching what it was. Have Symbiote Harley get the better of Peter, due to Peter's moodiness he is more prone to falling for things he normally wouldn't and have his Spider-Sense not working properly due to being to moody and angry to focus clearly. She captures him instead trapping him in something he can't break free from without killing innocent bystanders. Cue up Miles who goes into save the day and gets into a fight with Symbiote Harley. Peter is freed by Black Cat, who has snuck in and directs him to the docks. The now Symbiote Miles goes to kill the now human Harley for hurting Pet but have Peter stop Miles, make Peter have a speech about accepting responsibility for killing Joker and and owning his actions and refocusing on being a better Spider-Man. Show how the suit chose Miles during the fight ditching Harley. A refocused Peter with Felicia is able to (barely) beat back a Symbiote Miles as Harley detonates the bombs. The Symbiote latches onto Peter's black and white suit as Peter get's Harley, Felicia and Miles out. Have Peter oblivious to the fact that the suit bonded to him and have him clear the building with a few seconds to spare even due to the suit empowering him. Miles apologizes and Peter accepts it. Have Harley try and kill Felicia but Peter's arm turns into a tendril and takes out Harley crippling her lets say he snaps her spinal cord in half with an audible snapping sound, shocking him. Peter leaves as Miles and Gordon look on, confused and horrified as to what just happened. Have Cat take off after him and catch up to him eventually calming him down and helping him learn the suit. Have Peter split from MJ and Miles here without any word to them, setting up Arkham Knight in a unique picture of Villains teaming up to take out a newer and more aggressive Spider-Man with Black Cat as his aide. Miles in this one would have an uneasy alliance with Peter

One thing I would like to add is that while he wouldn’t lose he would start getting wore out by the regular fights and titian hechman being equal or more to kingpin I could see him by the end being incredibly beaten down Also he might not survive getting to ras even if they are willing to give him the demon blood which they might not

First of all spiderman is not getting tagged by joker like batman did,he got spider sense and second of all,spiderman has defeated the likes of mr negative and has fought through scorpian's illusions as well so he shpuld be able to pull through amd oncehe does Ras gets cooked.And spiderman never had trkuble with kingpin since je is very much capabke of ripping him in half if he wanted to,also dont forget about enhnaced stamina,he difmd defeat the enture sinister six with barely any breaks in between while having broken bones and being fatigued.If batman can do it then so can a guy with superhuman levels of stamina

Well this isnt related but commics spiderman has been shown to have an immunity to toxins,drugs and raduation so even if he somehow gets tagged by joker(which he wont) the thing might not even hsve affect.Also peter didnt seem to get bothered by dwvil's breath in his game either though scorpian's poison did affect him but idk if it would have killed him.

Li only in-forced the negative thoughts and mostly overpowers and forced his victims to work for him and SM was going to lose to scorpion if he didn’t make a cure fast. And ye he would be tried out. "Could Spider-man survive [thing Batman went through]?" Yes. The answer is always yes. Why did you even bother asking? Batman is a normie; sure he's "peak human", but he's still a normie, and so are most members of his rogues gallery. How is anything Batman can do supposed to present any sort of challenge to Peter, who can: >climb any surface effortlessly >swing from anything >lift 25+ tons >break the knuckles of a professional heavyweight boxer with his rock hard abs while unconscious >react to things that haven't even happened yet

Spider-Man solos the whole thing. No one at Arkham can match his strength/speed, plus Spider-Man has dealt with fear inducing toxin before (scorpion) and survived, and that stuff was poison. Joker but strong isn’t gonna be strong enough to match Spider-Man so he’s just lumbering and slow to him. Spider-Man vs Batman would be an interesting match, but Spider-Man’s skill set negates most of Batman’s rouges gallery. Except maybe Mr. Freeze

Spiderman spidy senses basically make him a problem for a lot of the Arkham villains. Deadshot or anyone with a gun or weapon or any Arkham villain here in wouldn't even really be a threat. Also with his spidy senses, illusions would never work on him as he's fought mysterio before whether it's in the games or comics so ra's al ghul and anyone else that tries to put him under illusions wouldn't be a threat either. The only ones is the Arkham games that I would say is a threat would be the Arkham knight

I don’t think Freeze would be that big a problem. That glass helmet gets covered in web immediately. The next thing Freeze sees is a fist or foot coming through that glass. Also, Spidersense would help avoid the building collapse and many of the things that catch Batman by surprise

On the flipside, I don't want to think about if Batman could survive the Insomniac Arkham games. Instead, I like to speculate what trophy/trophies he'd bring home. In this case, it'd have to be a "feather" from Vulture and the spear of Kraven

7:53 here's the thing though: Spidey has much more mobility than Batman. Batman can't get to Nora before the Freeze fight because he needs the ice grenades, but Spiderman can just crawl along the wall/ceiling to get there early. Actually, Spiderman's mobility breaks apart a lot of Arkham's Metroidvania elements, since a lot of the things Batman has to upgrade/unlock Spiderman can either already do woth either his webbing (batclaw, zipline), or strength (explosive gel)

Furthermore, Spiderman's ability to climb walls allows him to reach places Batman isn't capable of reaching in the first place, or get their much more quickly and easily than Batman. He can cover ground a lot faster with his web-swinging compared to Batman's glider, so he could theoretically have accomplished the things Batman did at this point much earlier than Batman, giving him additional time to find Nora.

“Unlike Batman“ actually, Batman is pretty sympathetic to subzero‘s cause he just understands that the guy is still a criminal. He could be sympathetic, and still know where to draw a line. Plus, I think subzero would be hard for Spider-Man because he doesn’t have any ice villains, assuming they fight.

Honestly I think making him Norman would work decently well Yes, Norman doesn’t KNOW Peter is spider-man, but it wouldn’t be a surprise if he suspects him to be spider-man by this point, and it could easily be written that he managed to find out his identity by looking into the incident involving Arkham city or smth

Spider-Man is awesome, but when it comes time for him to deal with Arkham Knight i don’t think he is getting through that. The fear gas is what took the most out of him in Asylum and he will have to deal with a much worse version in Knight.

His spider sense and abilities are written pretty bad in the Insomniac games, but tbh he should trounce most these characters and avoid getting infected because of his Spider Sense and his radioactive blood which can also prevent, cure and rid disease. He's so much stronger than all these villans which really makes me think this should be a cakewalk unless his spider sense takes a vacation in the bahamas like he does when he's constantly thrashed and stabbed and snuck up on in the insomniac games.

He seems to ignore how Spider-Man's unique abilities (ie abilities that don't have a bat-gadgwt equivalent) change how he reacts and responds to scenarios compared to Batman. Think about how the ability to climb walls ALONE would impact the way he navigates his environment. He has options available to him that Batman didn't have.

I honestly think spidey would just speed blitz Mr. Freeze as soon as his senses kick in

Keep in mind too that Spider-Man can stick to ice so that won't stop him from crawling on walls vs Mr. Freeze. He's also way faster than the ice gun so there wouldn't really be a need to hide. Like when he went against Silver Sable with her guns he just straight up fought her cause he was faster than her lasers.

By giving Peter the symbiote or the anti-venom he’d pretty much be unstoppable, so it’d make the question of if he could survive pointless because there’d be no real way to kill him, by removing the symbiotes from the scenario, it makes it so there could be discussion surrounding it without an obvious answer

Batman would be so dead. Especially against the likes of doc ock and Kraven. Both are highly adaptive enemies with access to tech no batman villain uses. Kraven 2nd phase he goes invisible and shoots batman with a high caliber sniper. With ock he just straight up kills batman, if batman doesn't prep for disabling his arms because he doesn't care like he did with Peter.

I really think that the grundy fight would never happen, infact just a well aimed web to the freeze gun could stall it without the need of an override, but that would be story wise only ofc

So rn im at the Freeze fight and Comic is saying it will be very hard for Peter due its a rather small space and he never faced an ice villain before. True Insomniac Spider never faced an ice powered guy with an suit that can adapt moves but as soon as Peter realises suit can adapt he will change his tactics. We often overlook Peter's inletellect, his smarts and with the first games gadets it becomes more easier. 1# I forgot if Freeze's drones can be taken out so if they can Peter is strong enough to break them with his punches or simply by using his spider arms he can take drones so it will give spidey a much more room to run around and hide. 2# At this boss fight you never mentioned previous game gadgets that can help Peter so i will. With Gravity thingy he can put Frezee up and punch him in the air. With his Shock Blast mode he can push Freeze in to generators. 3# Web Bombs can hold Freeze enough time to Peter can hurt him 4# The Impact Web same with the web bomb 5# Drones, simply use to distract Freeze's drones or use them to attack Frezee 6# The gadet with instant Takedown, Peter can attach this to near by wall and pull Freeze to wall and web him up. 7# Web Grabber can be used to pull Freeze in to Takedowns or simply grabber can grab on to small things and pull towards Freeze to get distracted. These are things that i come up with, it can be more maybe it cant. I agree with all of these Freeze will be a hard to beat but not that hard. Thank you for your video

How is Clayface difficult for Spidey? It would be just like fighting Sandman. Spider-Man has plenty of experience dealing with a supervillain with basically the same abilities. It wouldn't necessarily be a cakewalk, but Spider-Man would never be in any real danger.

I mean the antidote was made using the Lazarus pit I’m pretty sure it would’ve cured Joker had the container not been broken.

They insta-win honestly. The main trouble in the Asylum were always Joker and Harley who were freeing all the other prisoners. And Batman had the problem that he could not go through security gates without the Cryptographic Sequencer, which made him late to a lot of Joker's plans. Someone like Thor or Iron Man could simply walk through those gates without any harm and capture Joker before he has the chance to try anything.
