Advf wins everything against as Shield, damage, mass, knockback Though the as is better at dodging, but it is no use against a good aim player.

A fair duel should use the same ship

ADVF vs A-S. ADVF wins ofc. So long as the can aim, it is very easy to take down a skilled a-s, as I have done multiple times with Feather. A-s is fast and agile, but it's damage and mass aren't the best against a ship like ADVF. Even in X-27's video, when dueling Loveship as ADVF, despite Loveship being one of the best duelers, X-27 still won. However, with contra, ADVF also wins, but with a similar reason. Despite the damage being higher, the mass is quite low, while ADVF's is high. When dueling with Feather the same way, I found that because of this, even if both ships exchange shots, the contra will be sent flying. But the ADVF will barely flinch, allowing for it to collect gems before re-facing the contra. A better question would be if A-s and contra could beat ADVF.

An A-s is useless against advf in 1v1. Contra has a chance using the hit and run in the open field, but in asteroid fields, it will be harder to dodge your pulses and asteroids at the same time. One trick some people use as advf to beat really, really good speedsters is not upgrading damage so their next shot will be active when the speedster is still stun-locked.

@@Black-SunPH which contra was it, the one from mcst or the one from sdc, mcst ships are more powerful than vanilla ships, the vanilla ships in mcst are buffed. that's way contra in sdc is weaker.
