@@user-td9hp6li5h please note that the Black Caimans (different from the small Caimans that the Jaguars prey on) are apex predators, and at times even catch and eat Jaguars. A Jaguar would never prey on an adult black Caiman, and Jaguars avoid waterways that have black caimans in them.

Narrator you have no clue, first off that is not a crocodile but a Caiman, secondly, no Jaguar is a match for a tiger unless it is a large male versus a female Sumatran.

I am a big Jaguar fan; however, they are on average less then half the size of a Bengal Tiger. Only in the Pantanal Region is the male Jaguar over 100 kgs on average, so a male from this region has a good chance with a female Sumatran, Malayan or Sunderban Tiger but has no chance against a Bengal, Amur or Indochinese the size difference is too much. This holds true with pitbulls that are too small to consistently beat some of the biggest breeds of dogs that were used in dog fighting

There is another video of a Jaguar and Tiger in the same cage. The Tiger was a near adult and the Jaguar looked like an adult. The Jaguar was insisting to be closes to the feeding door and attacked the Tiger every time it came close. It was clearly just a dominance thing, as neither cat wanted to hurt the other. Every time the Jaguar attacked, the Tiger would jump in a pool at the far end of the cage . As soon as the Jaguar went back to the feeding door the Tiger would jump out of the pool and approach the feeding door end of the cage, provoking another attack. This repeated a number of times until the feeding door opened and the Jaguar got its food first, which was really all it wanted. The Tiger then got its food and both settled down to eat. I got the impression that the Tiger didn’t really care who got food first and like a juvenile, all it wanted was to stir up the Jaguar for a bit of fun. But also, the Tiger did not want to push the Jaguar too far, because the Jaguar wasn’t playing. It was serious and would fight if it came down to it.

The Cougars in my neighborhood bar, The Regal Beagle, are always hoing after young tigers.

The cougar following the Tiger is a juvenile, not fully grown. It probably likes the Tiger, but is afraid of it too.

Most of these "fights" looked like play fights among cats living among one another in zoos or private pens... 1000% clickbait....

Adult Male Jaguar (or even Female) Vs Adult Male Cougar, both in good phisical conditions ?!! The Cougar have no chance...

You have to be aware of the different ages of the cats. It can make all the difference. The Jaguar in the cage with 2 Tigers was older and more mature than the Tiger it was intimidating. The tiger was barely past the toddler stage, so of course it was unsure of itself. The leopard was closer to full maturity, so still really just being playful.

Evidently the two cats are familiar with each other ( pals )❤😊

As we know, just as with humans, there are weak individuals within a population, just as there are hyper alpha type individuals within a population. In this particular case, I guess the tiger was a super weak individual, within the tiger population. A typical tiger will beat the Jaguar to a pulp than back away.

@@missesmew please note that the Jaguar's bite force is only 3/4 as strong as a tiger's bite force. However, since the Jaguar is considerably smaller than the tiger (less than half the size of the Tiger), *relative to their size,* the bite is stronger. So in a nutshell, the Tiger still has the stronger bite force, vis-a-vis the much smaller Jaguar. Putting it differently, if the overall bite force of a tiger is say 10000 lbs of pressure (1200 psi), you would expect a Jaguar at 1/2 the tiger's size, to have 5000 lbs of overall pressure. However, the Jaguar in this case will have 7500 lbs (1500 psi) of overall pressure.......so the Tiger still has 10,000 lbs of overall bite force on the target, while the Jaguar, despite being 1/2 the size, still has 3/4th the bite pressure of the mighty tiger, at 7500 lbs of pressure.

@@ak4939 I once saw two victims of a jaguar attack from Brazil. Both of them had their skulls literally bitten through to their brains. After seeing that carnage, I kinda believe the consensus of-them having the strongest bite force of all the big cats.

In Belgrade zoo jaguar jumped over a precipice and killed a tiger while losing one paw. Same jaguar, later, managed to jump over the wall and attack a zoo guard. There were two German shepherd dogs, male and female with him. The male run away and the female defended the guard with her life. There is a monument of her in Belgrade zoo.

And apart from captivity, Jaguars and Leopards would never meet up. Nor would Jaguars ever see Lions or Tigers in the wild. However. Leopards, Lions _(Not the African one!)_ and Tigers all cross territories in Southern Asia. But even a large adult male Leopard is still no match against a Lioness or female Tiger

I look at Jags like a wolverine or a bulldog. Also, I suspect cats (and perhaps badger families) perceive more frequencies visually, so suspect when a jag plays with a tiger, the tiger reads the jag as you stated, 'do not push.' Note wolverines are avoided by everything, including grizzlies. Compare the math difference. :)

I love Jaguars to but people i believe build them up to much. Jaguar is no match for a Tiger or lion. Male Jaguar max weight is 220 pounds while bengal male Tiger max weight is 550 pounds & African male lion 500 pounds see the difference. There was a male lion that easily killed a Jaguar in one of those Circus things. Predators tend not to fight each other in the wild due to danger of infection. I have seen other videos where Jaguar took off from Cougar.

The Jaguar is the REAL LATINO. Native to Latin America...................From Mexico (in North America) all the way south to Argentina. Sometimes one or two may venture north into the United States.

Well originally Jaguars were indigenous all across North America Oregon to Pennsylvania then expanded south into Central then South America up here as you say very few still tho that wander as they do long distances and even hunt Black bear...! As you know they being hard on livestock were hunted out up here because of that...!

Jaguars and tigers are in different habitat. They dont meet in the wild and these videos are specific cut and paste videos from animals in captivity which again doesnt seem to be a proper captivity zone. Zoos and nature parks are supposed to understand wildlife and they wont put tigers, jaguars, cougars etc in same cage. Each species has separate enclosure. Only illegal wildlife enclosures will mix up the big cats.

Jaquar is no match for a Tiger. Cougar is no match for Jaquar

Tigers are smart that way too; African Lions being born relegated to pride/tribal life are wired to fight to gain and keep a Pride long as he can for he unlike the other big cats mentioned here he's not a good lone hunter, lmes getting fed by his ladies for his protection = there's no such thing for the other big cats where its successful hunts or starve...! This is why for lone hunting cats fighting for no real reason risking injury can be a death sentence if getting too incapacitated...!

Why this BS dog footage coming up again? There was human interference. That big dog could have fought the cat off. It was tethered down and could not fight back. That was not fair. Jaguars are badass, but a cougar of the same size could fight it off. Snow leopards are the toughest cats.

All are specialist in their area of specialty, Jags are the most agressive by nature, Cougars generally less so and Snow leopard's aren't called "ghost cats" for nothing = super secretive and all are beauiful creations in their own right...!

No jaguar is equal to tiger ever. That jaguar you see in this video is a friend of that tiger, they just play around. Otherwise tiger would swing it's paws with single move and it would be end of jaguar.

That Tiger not being aggressive, its size was intimidating the Jaguar was backing up trying to not have its nose shredded off = if you noticed the careful slow mo-! So no the Jaguar even much smaller gets on the throat it'd be bad for the Tiger...! Generally Jaguars have a more aggressive nature and can go to pissed off real fast with excellent killer instincts...!
