I’m the same with fairyloot, I get the combo box and have not been interested in the picks at all but I keep it for the early access. Might need to think about cancelling it soon though as it’s just a waste of money I don’t really have and I’ve ran out of room for books now!!!

Fairyloot customer service hasn’t been the best with me either 💜 they have beautiful books which has left me torn… since I have found Illumicrate and owlcrate which gave me better service I may be unsubscribing- it’s just hard bc I’ve been w them for years… but it’s been pretty consistent w the customer service. Since you’re sharing your experience it helps me not feel so alone- so thank you for sharing. 💜

I’m glad that sharing my experience has helped! I’ve never really had any issues with them but they still haven’t gotten back to my emails about skipping this book😬 I’m subscribed to illumicrate too and generally prefer their book picks so I might end up unsubscribing from Fairyloot. Same as you though I’ve been with them so long that it feels weird to do so😔

other booktubers have been talking about hte books they get from this when they do unhauls videos or TBR videos and i have been thinking they were saying Fairyloo. my name Melissa means Honeybee and i love the stenciled edges on this book.

The book looks stunning! 🍯🐝 Fairyloot’s customer service doesn’t seem very good recently… I’ve seen quite a few complaints on Instagram and a lot of international subscribers are having issues with deliveries and fairyloot are not addressing the issue! I cancelled my adult subscription about a year ago and there’s only been 2 books since that I was upset that I missed but picked them up on Vinted for £30 each so I saved a lot of money over the last year! That said, I’m now subscribed to their romantasy Subscription but I’ve already skipped May and July’s box so it’s looking likely that I might cancel that one too after I’ve used my 4 skips

I’ve never had any issues with them but this hasn’t been dealt with very well for me☹️ I’ve seen a lot of people reselling their books so it may be the way to go if I’m desperate for a specific edition! I’ve not heard the best things about the Romantasy books either… they should honestly give out more skips

I've been on their wait list for nearly a year but having seen so many books that just probably aren't for me, I'm not as anxious to get off the wait list. Especially since the adult only subscriptions seem to be more of the same (YA/NA) and not actually adult fantasy. While most of the editions from them look beautiful, I'm not sure it's worth the money. I was only interested in the adult subscription because I was hoping for better books for actual adults but probably not any more. And with so many stories of bad customer service, it just doesn't seem worth it.

They’re just not as good as I remember them being any more☹️ I agree that the choices feel closer to YA/ NA than adult too! I’ve always had great customer service up until this point and I’m definitely disappointed that they never got back to me

Shame you didn’t have a good experience with fairyloot :(:( but it is a pretty book 👀 haha
