You could get one of those old cassette/ aux cable adapters and use the direct aux output from the unit to your tape deck in your mustang. I did it in my old camper-van, it works great. That way you don’t have to use the fm at all.

That’s crazy I was just seeing about those. For my older truck I mostly listen to podcasts
