Costs x Asics Gel-Lyte III OG "Cane Vine": Review & On-Feet
Shenzhen-based label, Costs, recently teamed up with Asics to release their special take on the Gel-Lyte III model. Inspired by lychee vines, these have a very natural look to it, crafted using a mix of brown and pale green suedes, along with hemp panels and unique embroidery. Wish they would stop doing collabs with Gel Lyte 3, and do more with th e Gel-Lyte 5 or even better the Gel Saga, shoes look so much better with a tongue. The Asics Gel Saga Diamond x Ronnie, and ASICS Gel-Lyte V Kith Leatherback are hands down my favorite and IMO best looking releases.

I think pairing these sneakers with denim could compliment well!
My size is US 11 on my vans sk8 low and they fit me perfectly. Should I go size up with gel lyte 3s?
🔥 colorway is nice.
This is an odd one... This was supposed to be a China exclusive, so it was really weird that Canada got pairs. Especially since in the past year, Canada has been getting shut out of many GR and some limited CWs for the Gel Lyte III. Although, with them sitting on Asics Canada's website currently, it makes sense why they have been scaling back the Gel Lyte III releases. 1 minor gripe I have with them after walking 20KM in them: The collar is not as padded and the heel tab is slightly taller and wider than other GL3s that I have. This causes a minor rubbing with the Achilles. Just an annoyance, but taller socks than no shows fixes that. Which come fall time, taller socks will be the norm.
I want them so so much, but unfortunately they don't releases in Europe. I had bid on Stock x, don't want pay resell, so I will see. Great review , thanks Sean.

These are super easy to style in fall or summer chuck on a brown sweater, black pants of jeans and white sweater, or mint green, and you're good.

GL-III is the perfect shoe
I personally feel that the concept are not interpreted well on the shoes, though having said that, the colourway and design is beautiful 💥

I’m glad someone else feels the same about the shoe being hard to pull off. That’s my biggest complaint regarding ASICS is that they have colorways that simply don’t match anything in your wardrobe. Their best shoes are when they keep it simple or the colors compliment each other.

I don't know but these look pretty good. I haven't scene any ASICS sweatshirts but a dark pair of blue jeans with a all white sweatshirt might look good
