Kim, I love that you normalize "good enough". There really is so many different things in life that can influence us but also set us up to feel insecure because we don't do "all the things". Everyone's "good enough" is at different levels. Some make it seem unreachable but that's because we start comparing. Geez I carry on too much....what I am trying to say is THANK YOU for introducing "good enough" to me. I was definitley trying to do too much and it is crazy how more relaxed I feel when I don't pressure myself to do more than good enough. Have a great day my friend ❤️

Can I just say THANK YOU for how consistent you are, even in your pregnancy and all. My daughter has struggled with food allergies all her life. Nothing would come up on allergy tests. We knew something was wrong. Her skin cracks and bleeds, her hair was dry and brittle. She was tired all the time. We had tried every diet out there to no avail. So recently it was recommended we try avoiding preservatives. HOLY smokes. It has made the biggest difference!!!

I agree with all the others!! I have found myself changing things (for the better) when I’m cooking and maybe don’t have an ingredient, I’m like eh, good enough. Work with what ya got. Lol. I found an egg drawer on Amazon which has turned out to be the best solution. You can put stuff on top of it and when you need eggs, you just open the drawer.

loved the vid! one of the things that has been a game changer for us in the meat department is getting a meat grinder! we buy chicken or pork when it is on sale and grind it so we can make burgers or meatloaf or tacos or whatever! I just separate it out into pound packages and shrinkwrap the packages then freeze! love it when the fridge is clean too! and love seeing a full fridge after a grocery haul! yours looked spectacular! thanks for sharing! xoxo

I agree with you! Those egg containers take up the same amount of space! 🤣 Sometimes decanting items into a container make sense. Sometimes it does not, when it takes up the same amount of space & The packaging already tells you what's inside.

Mashed is one of the few ways to freeze potatoes without them turning yucky! Reheat with a touch of butter- yum. I keep leftovers for quick sides.

I love your Costco hauls. We have been eating a ton of fresh fruits and vegetables and the prices are crazy. Now there is a shortage of tomatoes which is crazy. Eggs are $2.99 for a dozen in Iowa, thankfully my dad has chickens so we get fresh eggs from him. You look great!

Hi Kim, if you need quick mash potatoe, bake a potato in microwave scoop out of skin and add butter etc. My daughter often wants mash.

Yes, have noticed the avocados coming down as well, and I'm finally buying them again.

My favorite way to store eggs is in a container similar to what you put the peaches in. Takes up way less space and you can fit 2 dozen. I love that I can reach in and get what I need without having to take the container out.

Consumer Reports says you should keep your eggs in their original container (keep fresh longer) but I love to be able to see how many are left. Can't do that with the cardboard ones,

LOL....first day of school; cinammon rolls full of sugar and send them off... love it. We try to be healthy too BUT yes you should be able to splurge.

I want to weigh in on gluten sensitivity. For years I've been struggling with pain and discomfort and being told I'm not allergic and I don't have problems, but removing gluten from my diet alleviates all discomfort and I don't feel pain or bloat or anything. Within the last year, I've gotten an autoimmune diagnoses and that doctor told me about how that can be connected to my gluten intolerance. Some soft wheat are tolerable but for the most part I try to avoid gluten at all costs. I can't imagine going through all of that as a child. As an adult, having to re-learn how to eat and what not to eat is crappy. Eleanor is lucky to have you! I love that you're so conscientious of your kids diets ❤️
