Using my dad's Costco membership QR Code to pay for my own gas lol I just took a screenshot of his QR code and saved it on my photo gallery so I have it without needing to sign into the app with his credentials to obtain it. Think smarter not harder.

Hi thanks for your comment. You cannot pay by cash at the Costco Gas stations. They only accept cards. If you lose your cash you won’t be able to get it back. If you use credit cards you will be able to get your money back. If you lose your phone you can still find it because you’ll be able to locate it remotely with an app and lock it. Phones are also backed up to the Cloud (contacts, photos, etc.) so you can retrieve without problem. Like everything, if you lose something it’s a hassle.

1. Carry your physical membership card if you’re worried. 2. If you don’t keep regular backups of your phone (which is dead simple these days) you deserve everything that happens from losing it. What happens when you lose your wallet? It’s not like you can even make a backup of it. 3. Costco gas has never taken cash. 4. Cash is way less safe (just look at the rash of jugging incidents). 5. It’s clear you don’t understand these concepts because you can’t spell “lose”, “phone”, “what”, or “when” properly, and you can’t even put together a coherent sentence.
