We bought a Vitamix blender at Costco 15 years ago and it is still going strong. I would definitely recommend one! We use it often and have made many things in it.... smoothies, soups, peanut butter, etc. It has been a great investment for my family!

My husband gave me a Sears glass blender about 1970. Still works like new. Back then, it probably didn’t cost more than $10-15.

We had a Ninja for years. Someone posted an old school Vitamix on our local Buy Nothing page, and I snagged it... so old, but blends like buttahhh!!! Imagine adding spinach to a smoothie and it being pureed so well that there are absolutely zero, weird leafy chunks. 😅🙌🏼

Yes she is! Taking care of 5 kids, a husband, every thing she does around the home, she deserves a lot of credit for all that she does, woman or man all we can do is our best and not compare ourselves or self hate about everything we do.

Kim, I got the VitaMix from Costco in February. I don’t regret it. It really does blend so much better than the other blenders I’ve had. It’s super easy to clean too. I just rinse it out right after I use it.

My family all use the plastic type water bottles but we actually prefer having room temp water. Probably weird I know 😂. We also live in the frigid north of Minnesota so temps aren't getting to 700 degrees here.

I’m old 75 we owned 3 Sterns and Fosters loved them all. Good choice smart mom

Great time to pick up Christmas gifts, the selection is amazing. Definitely not too early to buy Christmas gifts. When my kids were young, I started in July & had it done before thanksgiving. Of course they would add a few things as it got closer.

I just bought a Sterns and Foster mattress! We love it!! Cost a lot, but worth every penny!

Love going to Costco with Kim and so interesting to see regional items that we don’t have. I go there to get Dave’s Killer bread and then come out several hundred dollars lighter 🤷🏻‍♀️

I scoffed at Vitamix cost too but after about 7 Nutribullets and a Kitchen Aid and a Ninja that pooped out with daily smoothie making, I took the plunge and got a Vitamix on sale. LOVE IT! No regrets!

I’ve been hearing that the “Pyrex” we all want is PYREX vs pyrex. All uppercase letters=true PYREX. Lower case is different glass that doesn’t hold up as well.

YES!Yes to Sterns and Foster! I’m probably in your moms age bracket and when my hubby and I bought our Sterns about 28 years ago, it was a primo brand! I was the first in my family to own that quality in bedding. However, we are still sleeping on our mattress which is currently out living it’s quality. It’s time for a new mattress but as we look at the S&F brand we see how the quality is lacking now.

Christmas ribbon?? It. Is. Julyyyy. 😅 I haven't even started back to school shopping! Thank you so much for showing all the snacks, Kim! This is my first year with three kiddos going to school (Kindergarten, 4th gr & 8th gr) and I'm feeling a tad overwhelmed already. Those Clif Nut Butter bars are a huge hit with our kids and that price for the quantity can't be beat. Going on my list, for sure. Might have to grab those Hello Kitty Tupperware for my daughter. I LOVE LOVE LOVE my Vitamix! But I got mine through the BX and could do a payment plan. I've had it for years, like 10+, and it still works like brand new. Also, Helix mattresses I hear are great, and you take a quiz to see which one would be good for you and Alex to share.

Right there with you on trash bags. In my area, it's hard to find non scented, and we don't get them due to the scents being too strong and a migrain trigger for myself. When I was at my local Sam's this weekend, they had a Jalapeño Spinach Artachoke dip. If they have it at the holidays I'm gonna grab it for my husband and his mom since I think they would love that.

I have watched a lot of your videos while shopping, you have a great style of making videos and explaining things

I have to say that the two most expensive items in my kitchen are a Vitamix and my Kitchenaid stand mixer! Now that ive had them for 10ish years, i truly can't imagine my life without them!!! I use my Vitamix for everything! This morning I made a smoothie with a little bit of spinach, some kale, my frozen fruit(s) of the day (berry mix today!) and a few carrots to kick up the sweetness! Yummmm! I've also used it to make soups, frozen "slurpee"-type drinks for the kiddos and frozen adult beverages too! (I've been told I make a mean frozen Margarita!!! Lol!) Bottomline, I do use it quite often and it's still going strong after 10+ years. My old blender couldn't begin to compare. (Oster who???) Thanks for another great video - I always look forward to your Costco vlogs! I'm disabled and don't get out to the stores to just wander around much so I totally LOVE living vicariously through you!!!

Those frozen chicken meatballs are delish! Got them last week and served them with Buffalo sauce.

I let the membership go because it was just tough to get there at that distance but a new one is being built half that distance for me and I can’t wait! I always wondered about the water bottles too. My MIL absolutely won’t drink anything too cold because of tooth sensitivity- has to be it!

Kim the Vitamix is worth EVERY single Penny! Have had mine for years & it’s still working perfectly. Never had an issue with it. I use it to make homemade soups, sauces, peanut butter, smoothies, shred chicken, mix pancakes, muffins, shred cheese. I could go on & on. Take the plunge, you won’t regret it. I’ve heard their customer service is great because nobody ever has to return or have repairs done. What a “screaming deal that is!” As always, thank you for taking us along on your weekly adventures! Love it! 🥰🥰

So my hubby is currently in St. Pete celebrating his best friend turning 50--they are taking flying lessons this weekend to celebrate their big 5-0 this year. (They went to UNF.) I seriously considered going with him and hanging out in local Targets to see if I would run into you! Hahaha! I am stuck at home with the teens dealing with triple digit heat in Oklahoma--but get to hang out with you anyway. Loved your closet declutter this week! Waited a long time for that one--and it did not disappoint!

@@melaniebaines2257 Hubby got home today! He had such a great time! I don't think I have been to St. Pete since his friend got married in '04, but it was absolutely lovely!

I have a second ninja. They blend well but the plastic blender jar gets cracked after awhile. Happened last time and is happening again. Get the vitamix if you can afford it and check out the warranty it has or doesn’t have. I use mine a lot for frozen fruit or ice cubes so it takes a beating making smoothies.

I bought a Ninja and sold it after I sliced my finger on the blade. Purchased a Vitamix and couldn't be happier. Also, our Sam's Club has some of the same products Costco sells. Our Costco is about thirty-five miles from us, with Sam's Club only three miles. One thing I wish Costco had was Scan and Go....you're able to scan the bar code and check out without going to a register, makes life so much easier.

I have my Mom's iron skillet and it's so heavy but indestructable. But i niticed the Costco one has a handle on the opposite side, nice to have two handles, easier on the wrists.

I absolutely love the books and cardigans!!

I have the Pyrex bowls and love love love them. 3 in the frig right now. Also have a Vitamix. Had for years. Just made a smoothie. I make nut butters, tomato sauce, smoothies. It’ll be your last blender you buy.

Definitely get the vitamix. But get the ascent series because you can get additional attachments for it. I have the single serve container, the dips container, and the food chopper for mine.

We love our Lull mattress! We’ve had it for almost two years.

I have a Stearns & Foster mattress and box-spring from the 1980s. I'm not even kidding! I was thinking about replacing it, but ended up buying a fancy new 2 inch memory mattress pad instead. Perfect! I'm worried that a whole new bed won't be as comfortable as this is.

Pressed wood furniture doesn't last. Look at antique and used furniture stores for a Buffet, you Do Marketplace-lots of fine furniture on it. Save $100's of dollars and will last so much longer. Costco should so sponsor you. You make it fun to shop there!

I have a NINJA blender and LOVE IT! Use it for everything, even as a food processor!

We have those Pyrex mixing bowl, most of the lids are a bit wobbly after a few years of love. In other words they’re good for mixing and salads you’re not tossing 😅

We got our mattress at Costco. We got the king Casper one. We love it

We just bought a sleep number mattress we both love it TFS love from Wisconsin ❤❤❤

I’ve had that Ninja Pro blender for years and I LOVE it! 🩵

I had a Vitamix and it failed on me about a year in. I went back and forth about getting another one but the price tag just made me cry. I ended up getting a Ninja blender on sale at Costco and I am more than happy with it.

We use those Downey beads (the light scent) and love them. My daughter has very sensitive skin and they do not bother her, and allow her clothes to have the clean scent.

I like the brand Berkshire Life because of the raw & retail videos of the berkshire mall, it became a dead mall haunted with jazz elevator music and retired people liked hanging out there

If the Van Gogh Experience comes to your area... Absolutely go!!! Take your artist children and run, don't walk!!! The VR at the end is magical too!!

Get the vitamix! You won’t regret it and that price is excellent! I love mine, those are mixers you pass down to your kids simply because you want a new one- they last forever.

I love my Vitamix. Can even make hot soup. Totally worth the price. Took me awhile to go for it but so glad I did.

I think i would be putting birthday parties on an every other year schedule. In fact i only had a bday party for my daughter every 3yrs- otherwise taking a friend to Magic Mountain or something. Id be goin cray cray doing bday parties every year.

We have three Once Upon A Child stores in Wa. State but between one and three hours away from Seattle.😢

Kim, you have to get the vitamix! I broke so many blenders with frozen bananas but not with the vitamix. I make so many things with it especially smoothies. You can make soup too. I use it almost everyday ❤👩‍💻👍🏻

I have both. Vitamix is nice but $$$…But, depending on what you are blending the Ninja is great. I mean if you put your frozen fruit in the carafe 5 minutes early it makes a major difference. Especially in Florida. Its no biggie to put the fruit in while gathering all the other ingredients. I use them both.
