Yeah just had it in and all good this year, no issues and I am sure its for driving. Take your time on the 360, best a manual for sure.

Nice commentary, honest and thoughtful. I do like the contrast between the pretty sober monologue and the rapturous shots of the car from all angles - so as much as one thinks 'yes better be aware of the pitfalls of this', you're also thinking 'Good God that car is awesome!'.

Pickerrs I have worked through that over many years! I am half Italian and have a love of cars, hard to say no to me!! Haha plus she likes cars too so that helps!

Interesting video. I'm steering towards a c7/c8 vette now... they seem frill free compared to ferarri but no one can denigh how beautiful that Modena is!!

Excellent, detailed and honest video, thank you. I love the 360, in my opinion it's an underrated beauty, that is often overlooked because of the 430, the reality is the 360 is the father of the 488 and all the mid V8 engines cars that followed since. In fact, The 360 was the game changer, although the 355 was a beauty let's face it the 360 was a whole new different ball game. In my opinion one of the most beautiful designed cars by Ferrari 👍🏻

I know, but busy on a day job! I remember when I was researching, any videos were welcome, so hopefully someone can benefit!

My 360 spider fuel evap system had to be 95% fixed or replaced. This was over the course of 4 months. Plugging one vapor leak uncovering another. Whack a mole. Lol. This is a passion not an investment. Can you afford to live without it? That's all that matters. Love the gated Rosso corsa brother. All time classic poster car.

Very interesting episode,own the identical car and have enjoyed trouble free ownership for 5 years.

Miller Fisherman I know! BUT the reason was I chose to do it all so it would be unfair to give that number, the car did not need it all in that moment so would have made it sound very expensive. The dash fault (2k) and coolant issues 1K have been only unplanned costs!

You are not the first to say that, it was too hard to say because I did so much preemptive work. It was not just about a price tag but more a mindset about cost of ownership. If you want a number then budget 3/4K a year

No I had an issue on the first day which they fixed. The problems came later and were not easily identified back to them, I just knew it was them.

Also is there only one shade of red for the Ferrari 360? Because I would’ve sworn the one I’m looking at on Auto Trader appears to be a darker red

@@dylancoric3734 there are several shades of Rosso for Ferrari’s with the 360 - Rosso Corsa, Rosso Fiorano - the latter being a darker red which is what I’m guessing you’re talking about.

Asking for expense, asking garage what will need replacing down the line? But maybe you're set for life, and if you aren't, maybe think again? This question is for us out here.

You need to dream long enough, but go in for the long term ( because you want to) with your eyes open & pocket (potentially, hopefully not required) deep enough. If you go through that long term, researched process & press go, nothing will ever compare. And all the costs, might make you flinch, but every drive wipes all away. Took me 30y of driving very, very good sports cars, daily, to take the plunge. Hell should freeze over before I sell my manual prancing horse.

Outside of work I have chosen to do which I did up front, I would say I have spent 4k on unplanned things in 4 years, maybe 2K servicing and day to day maintenance. I have spent more than that as I did paintwork and other things ahead of time. The servicing costs are minimal. If you worry about servicing then don't get one. It's what you need to spend to keep in tip tip, and unexpected things.

@@gu7717 I would suggest 3K a year budget and you may or may not need it. The reason this is not balck and white is because some people may wait until things break, others prefer to fix things ahead of time, I prefer that way because often if one thing breaks it can affect another. Having said all of that, mechanically my car has not broken down once since day 1, it is known as a very strong motor!

The reality is every car is different. There is also a difference between what you voluntarily spend vs what you need to spend. I would suggest a perfect year would be £1000 for service and bits and bobs. Then be ready for 2k of unexpected things. You might not spend it, but be ready for it. I spent a lot fixing things voluntarily that cost a lot, those things would have needed doing but just spread out.

Richard Boddington well caution with that; there are cheap ones out there but they can hurt the wallet if they break. Good ones are harder to find but yes, still can cost of not looked after.

@@MagicModena I think they are all a huge risk, if you buy one, you need to be ready for a very expensive repair that could take weeks to complete as the parts are sourced. I'm looking at two 2004s right now, with very low KM. But I won't let the "hardly used" aspect lull me into a false sense of security.

Lovely looker, forerunner of the 458 but nowhere near as beautiful or as good. My neighbour just bought one and had a full service before he picked it up at a cost of £2000. I'm not embarrassed to say, I can't afford those shorts of charges, would need a Lotto win to get me a prancing horse

danny galvez see my reply above as to why I did not put an exact cost. But basically I spent a lot voluntarily. I have spent about 2k in two years on things that happened to me.

All for 25% of the cost of a classic Aston, or less than the cost of educating one child at independent school for 5 years. It's a bargain. Good film.

Same answer with all cars when asked the question which gives no insight what so ever ... it’s an m car it’s an amg bla bla bla why worried about fuel you just fill it when it needs it ... 2mpg then? 🤷🏼‍♂️ your all full of shit 😂 , a millionaire got rid of his mclaren f1 because 4 new tyres cost 30k because he had bought the track edition and didn’t realise for 1.2 mil , he sold it and then the cars rose in price to 15mil could he of kept hold of it since he was a millionaire yea course he could of but he still didn’t want the huge cost that came with it because he had no idea 4 tyres would cost 30k who would 🤷🏼‍♂️ but going off that logic no sports car is affordable I can’t afford 30k for 4 tyres and this is a Ferrari might cost more with that badge 😂

Miguel Angel Muñoz owning a Ferrari is more than numbers, it’s passion. I explained the overall feel of it. I also did call out the one main cost that was unexpected. The idea was to get people thinking about the concept of it. Saying how much a car costs exactly to own is pointless as every car is different.
