How much is vietnam living cost? Some say it's insanely cheap, or could be a lot of them that I don't really know the exact number of people who really stated that. However, what about after the inflation? The war between Ukraine and Russia? Things may have been mixed up quite a bit, but for sure the prices of certain things increased after these incidents.
Vietnam cost of living has been known as one of the most reasonable for the past ten years. With a lot more foreigners decided to come to Vietnam for work and holidays, it's obvious that such a saying "Vietnam is cheap to live" isn't a myth. But what about the cost of living in vietnam 2024? Are those statements still relevant in some ways? Is it true that I can still live in Vietnam with a budget of around $1000 per month? Today's video will explain it all to you.
🤩 Life in Vietnam to me, is indeed a unique experience. As someone who has lived here for more than 5 years, I have enjoyed it so much that I want to retire in vietnam. rent in vietnam is way cheaper than what I had to pay back in France, and until now such a advantage is still valid. health insurance in vietnam is sufficient, cheap and up-to-standard that I have no worries about my well-being here. Cost of food in vietnam, one word: Splendid. It was a challenging time at first to get used to with the food. However, over the years of being more familiar with the taste, it's something I cannot live without. The food is unique, cheap, and I can also have it again whenever I want. Specifically, cost of living in ho chi minh city may surprise you. I don't know about other cities but it may still be the same (or mild differences). The monthly budget for living in hcmc as a foreigner is incredibly cheap. For me, it still is and things may change in the near future due to the recent chaos. However, I'm happy with the things I have now. And yes, vietnam visa cost is something not many people would calculate when they come to vietnam to live. You know how much it costs?

Rent was cheaper in other videos I watched. Don’t know who should i trust now since it’s a very important factor. It was around 400USD for a decent single apartment in a nice area sometimes with pool and gym access. Wish anyone here can share more information about rent please!

100k : Dentist check + fix and clean ? I pay around 1M VND one time per year. You are a few comments talking about this cheap dental clean. What is this dental teeth cleaning ? Is it on the street or in a proper decent dentist place ? Ahah, maybe I should try some new adventure. But don't know the product they would on 100k, I am kind of afraid to have my teeth falling ahah 😂

  • @MoveToAsia

Ok I see, you may be right then. The breakdown of my Bill at the dentist for the "cleaning step" only is probably cheaper than the total dental price I mentioned. Anyway, in overall, it's way cheaper than in Europe. For the eyes : optical and vision care it's the same tho.
