I south Florida, a plumbing company wanted $800.00 to run 6 feet of 3/4" copper. I doubt it is more expensive than that! I was a plumber for 20 years so I ran it and materials cost $30.00.

The better quality of life compared to Texas makes the move worth it for me

A lot of high earning Americans are now shifting to Mexico who're still earning in US Dollar (work from Home) after they arrive there in order to save themselves from current American inflation and live a more wealthy life. It's drastically increasing the house rent and grocery prices in Mexico for the Mexicans. Because the Americans spend in dollars there.

Thank you for your comment :) Monterrey is a bigger and an established city so I think expenses will be a little more than Querétaro. I suggest you get in touch with someone who lives there. 🙂

Monterrey is more expensive because is closer to the USA but they paid better and the chance to get a job is better, but the weather is very hot.

You can pass for a Mexican lol. If you told me i would believe you lol. Queretaro is a very beautiful city. Mexico in general is a stunning country with good future with AMLO as preaident. He is doing great things!!!!. Btw Indian Mom in Mexico lives in Queretaro she also has a youtube channel. You should check her out.
