Cost of living in Brazil! 1/3 OF YOUR Countries Prices! PLUS: Serene Sunset & Capoeira Surprise!

Join me on another sunny day in Fortaleza, Brazil, a place I've called home for nearly two decades. In this video, I take you grocery shopping, revealing what approximately $125 USD can get you in Brazil. As I navigate through three different stores, I showcase prices and provide the cost in dollars, keeping the conversion rate on screen for reference. From fresh produce to meats, I leave no aisle unexplored, giving you an inside look at what a typical Brazilian grocery store looks like.
But it's not just about the groceries; I also offer valuable tips for those planning to move to Brazil, discussing the country's minimum wage and the incredible benefits of geographic arbitrage-earning in dollars while enjoying the lower cost of living in Brazil.
The video culminates in a scenic bike ride along the stunning Beira Mar, where we stumble upon an unplanned Capoeira circle, showcasing one of Brazil's many wonders-the country's spontaneous and vibrant culture. Finally, we're treated to yet another breathtaking sunset, a perfect ending to our day of exploration.
If you're curious about living or traveling in Brazil, this video is a must-watch. Experience the magic of Brazilian grocery shopping, culture, and natural beauty right here!

Olá Billy...no Brasil você vai sempre encontrar os produtos, frutas, carnes e derivados em supermercados, que se chamam de atacadões, e em feiras livres...muito mais barato de que comprar em mercados e conveniência na orla marítima ...

I'm an American Citizen already in Brazil. I will stay in Brazil past April 10,2024 until about May 15. I wish to extend my stay past the initial 90 days. Question is: When does the Visa start counting my new 90 day period (assuming I'm approved). Will the new 90-day period begin at the end of my initial 90 day period...or... will my new 90 days start the day I am approved? I'd like to do 90 days, not leave the country, and start a new 90 days with the new eVisa I will ideally acquire. Advise? Experience with this? PS: With all due respect, the Brazilian government website is trash, at best. It is always out of service or out of date. That is why I am asking you kind folks. Thanks.

Thx for confirming that. I question these prices a lot if they are really that cheap. I know they are but still. Seems too good to be true. Mind you both my girl and I live off of $200 a month for food. That’s three meals a day for each of us, really good hefty homemade Brazilian and Colombian food. It’s Super cheap.

@@BillyGringo God that's good to know. I don't know how much you know about what's going on here but just to give you an example. People are outraged on tiktok because a Big Mac meal at McDonald's is now 16 to $18. Now I will tell you I lift really heavy and I trained hard so I probably eat more than like some vegan guy or some hippie but I still think that's expensive. Eggs were $9.42 a dozen last on my checked and when I go to Brazil and live with my girl in Vitoria (vila velha) hopefully I can eat for around the same price with both of us together I'm praying

@@Kristoferwitha_k American fast food in Brazil is more expensive here than in the states. But groceries are still cheap if you are earning in dollars. it’s not so cheap for me because I make a living in Brazil. We eat out 15 to 20 times a month and our average meals costs the equivalent of 13 US. Some as low are 9 bucks for the both of us and as high as 25 - 30 bucks. If you have a remote jobs earning in dollars, you’ll be good in Brazil.
