I also sell used games online. I got tired of paying $3 per disc repair at my local game store. I decided to buy my own machine. However, I skipped the JFJ Easy Pro as I heard it wasnt perfect and can be very time consuming and messy. Instead, I went ahead and bought a RTI Eco Pro. Its a big investment but it was totally worth it for me. I can repair any disc in like a minute or 2. The only downside is that its a time based machine, meaning that it uses chips with built in timers. However, I love it since it leaves my games in almost like new condition with very little time per disc. Also, its not as messy as the JFJ Easy Pro. It costs over $1,000 new but I bought mine refurbished from the website at $500. Not too bad.

Really like mine. Good for optical disks in nasty condition. I think they may now be out of manufacture, though.

Do you have many problems with returns for CD's and DVDs you have refurbished? Thanks you.

I was curious because it seems like buffing. I tried a 3" angle air polisher with compounds and polish. Finished with a glaze and got the same results maybe better. But I used a $300 Auto polisher and auto compound. SO NOT CHEAPER FOR ME OR EASIER> BUT WAS CURIOUS IF IT COULD BE DONE AND YES!!! GREAT VIDEO AS ALWAYS!!

I don't know how this worked for you. I have a few discs that are scratched and unplayable, but they're not even that badly scratched. And this didn't fix them at all. They still don't play. I'll be returning to Amazon and might have to invest in a jfj

Thanks, as for people damaging the discs that badly I think it comes down to people not taking care of their stuff. I see it all the time from Thrifts, Garage sales and even Storage Units. I just scored about 65 Video Games that are all roached, not sure if I can even repair them and I asked myself why would someone treat these games so poorly. I think the answer is people don't care. lol - thanks for watching.

Not sure if you do this but do you purchase bulk mail? Or tried that route to cut the price on shipping a dollar or so each?

You need one of these these if you are buying preowned games, or dvds, cex has one of these machines but they only want to use it for expensive rare games, i tried to sell a game to them but they rejected it because it was scratched, they expect everything that people bring in to be brand new, it's pathetic.

This seems very taxing on time. If you even do 20 CD's per month its probably worth getting the JFJ easy pro's in the long run. They work very well.

I own a JFJ and yes the machine will work better to get deeper scratches out but for the price of $150 on a JFJ I think you will find this $40 machine can get the job done as well. I have owned a JFJ and it has broken on me 3 times. This cheaper machine has proven results, just look at the feedback on Amazon from other customers. Thanks for watching.

A basic JFJ is $99.99 - 134.99. And in my opinion seems like a better option for bulk cleaning. I personally haven't had any issues. It's quick and can make a completely ruined disk playable - which is mainly what we find sourcing.
