My father worked for Glock and was given a bunch of these back in the early 90’s. The swat teams used to use them as breaches bars before better equipment was available. When he was helping police departments transition from the Dirty Harry style revolver to the Glock, he used to demonstrate their capabilities by closing them in a door and bending it over until it bounced back. Was a really cool demonstration back in those days. Especially seeing it as a kid.

Austrian citizen here (hence I served in the army, mandatory military service) the reason why at the base of the blade there is a 'bottle opener' is so that you can tighten the training muzzle device on your STG77 which enables your rifle to still cycle when firing blank rounds. Another fun fact, in the army I was not allowed to sharpen it, so there is that, still good for stabbing I suppose.

Not really, it’s a cheap knife that’ll most likely do it’s job. Although if you’re looking for a saw in the back of the knife you need to make sure that the teeth is wider than the knife itself, otherwise it’ll just get stuck into whatever it is you’re sawing. Some really cheap “survival” knives have that issue.

For some applications, like in grappling, but blade up allows for more distance between you and your opponent. We learned a variety of knife-fighting techniques at Camp Mackall. You know what the best lesson was? That a knife is a shitty excuse for a weapon in mêlée combat. Get a club, instead. Much more effective, and puts more distance between you and your opponents. Keep knives as tools.

The dollar is mathematically designed to hyperinflate /collapse. It's just a matter of time, usually a world war is started by the current country that runs the world reserve currency.. the contenders don't want to use it anymore (Russia China , and an endless list of countries) see Venezuela for how the USA is going to be when this happens.. the struggle will be how to bring those responsible to account for their actions

The MK2 (KA-BAR, Camillus, Case, etc) is not near as tough of knife as even the Glock knife in this video, the Cold Steel SRK is tougher yet. Anything from TOPS is gonna be even tougher than that. The MK2 is a terrible combat knife. With that said, it would make a fantastic fighting knife, but that's about it.

Proho… in the marines they told us to never attach a knife your vest like that. If your enemy gets close enough where knife combat is an inevitability, they could pull your knife and instantly strike your neck/head.
