Return of the legendary Cossacks! The sequel of the award winning strategy series.
Leaning on the history of the 17th and 18th century, the real time strategy game awakens colossal mass battles with up to 10,000 soldiers simultaneously on the battlefield.
This remake of the classic game, that originally launched in 2000, contains all of the elements that distinguish the successful Cossacks games and combines them with contemporary 3D-graphics. Cossacks 3 provides the player with infinite tactical options, including not only the construction of buildings, the production of raw materials, but also the broad selection of various units and the influence of the landscape.
Twelve nations, 70 different unit types, 100 research opportunities, and over 140 different historical buildings are available to the player. Besides the battles ashore, players can build an armada and attack their enemies at sea. Cossacks 3 offers five historic single player-campaigns and up to eight players can fight each other in multiplayer-mode on one map. The player can forge alliances with or against others as well as challenge the computer. Randomly generated maps provide endless variations and can be adapted to the gamer’s needs.

Cossacks: The Art of War - continues the history of the great battles of XVII-XVIII centuries, and introduces five new campaigns, two nations, some new units and much more.
To stand alone in war is extremely unpleasant. Extremely pleasant, on the other hand, is the stand-alone version Cossacks: Back to War. Containing all of the gameplay features of Cossacks: European Wars and Cossacks: The Art of War, this is a complete care package for all current and future Cossacks fans. This add-on contains 100 captivating missions taking place between the 16th and 18th centuries. In addition, two new nations, Switzerland and Hungary, are included. These countries waged war in the late Middle Ages and essentially influenced the development of European military strategies. This addition causes the second add-on of Cossacks to pass the threshold of allowed gaming fun.

probably because AoE2 (2013 remaster) had 1/10 of atention to detaill and still got tons more money than this one... Im not sure but I can imagine it being the case.
The first one had charming visuals. dated maybe, but endearing. Reminds me of the Rollercoaster Tycoon Series in that the first ones although dated visually just had a nicer 'feel'. I think the other ones are good too mind you.

Back in the days it looked much better on CRT screens.
I like the older version better, more realistic colors and textures. The new ones color are too saturated.
i would love to see an American Conquest: Fight Back Remake, having Native Factions and Morale + The Fact that your Civilians have to be trained into Military units, and In-Building Combat is a thing, blows it to outer space

amerixcan conquest have more bugs fixes, cossacks 2 too, and i cant saving or ending missions
The memories... man I have not played Cossacks for years i kinda miss it.
I think the original Cossacks is better. Im still playing with it 🙂

The Cossacks 3 is more player friendly but Cossacks 1 I consider it still better because of the nostalgia

Cossacks 1 dated , steam free, and STABLE. COSSACKS 3 great eye candy, steamed, and UNSTABLE. Usually the game runs out of memory, or just corrupts itself. The corruption is based on the autosave feature but the game still crashes and when it does its gone for good. Such a terrible fate for such a great game.

Anyone know if there like any games like Cossacks European war for the consoles?
Cossacks 1 came out in 2002. It was like way ahead of its time with nice graphics. Shortly afterwards Empire Earth came out. EE feels like a simple version of Cassacks and simply cannot replace this game.

Up to this day Cossacks is the franchise that moved from 2D into 3D better.... I think half of the hate it received its because AoE never has been able to do it with the same quality (we will see if AoE4 goes better on this, but for the moment im not too impresed)

@@Shmandalf Im talking about portray a classical isometric proyection into a modern RTS with 3d models involved, not gameplay. Relic instead ised a more perspective style view, that may fit better 4 the landscape, however, this mixed with a low polycount 4 units made it looks sighly like AoE3.

American Conquest is the best game made by these guys

Не только. В старых частях Карты по больше были. И еще непонятно почему сохранение убрали при игре в мультиплеер, а раньше сохранялки были.

@@ghostnightmare758 Ну как спорно , если у вас модель юнитов увеличилась, на количество пикселей экрана в соотношении к карте на м2. Оно реально ощущается в игре.

@@i.k.7516 I gotta say, I love the major graphical overhaul on CS3, but I prefer the older gameplay from CS1. For some reason AI wont build ships in CS3 on HARD mode compared to CS1 where even easy would build fisher boats.
I love cossaks the best game ever i really missing this game. I would pay money to play also on my mobile.🙂🤘

Cossack 1 is better than cossack 2,3 , American conguest, and napoleonic war. Because cossack 1 more speed. Other cossack 1 is too slow.

Rush the peasants with pikemen, sabotage the mines with hussars, engage the cavalry with cannons and fusiliers, demolish buildings with mortars and grenadiers. And when they are not watching, bombard their buildings with your fleet.
It was great for its time but now we have the Total War series
I never did play these games. They like AoE'ish
