Today Stealth Build a Red Hood Chest armor out of eva foam using Foam Pepakura file Templates.
This Chest armor pattern is a generic one which can be used to many heroes such as Batman, Red hood, gambit, wolverine. Really anyone you can think of. Try it out for yourself.

    im gonna use 3mm foam for chest pieces then another 3mm foam rectangle to put behind the chest pieces to hold them together

    This chest piece could be modified to work with the Mars EVA Suit from the Martian. Would love to see you tackle that one.

    I really like the other version of this video, but this is good too with the tighter editing. Curious, have you "skinned" this sort of thing in fabric before?

    @@Heroesworkshop dick was definitely the best but I like Jason Todd's method too. Sometimes just catching them and they get released to do crime again is pointless. Todd the judge and executioner.

    I really hate to bother you with this but I’m making the torso armor for my son. I’ve been able to scale it correctly but I just wanted to ask how many places that I need to do a bevel cut. I’ve watched the awesome tutorial when you made the helmet. Watching this tutorial I couldn’t tell where you made beveled cuts

    Hello pare. Just want to ask. If you change the width. Will the height changes automatically? Cause that is one of my concern. Do you experience that in Pepakura? Ty.

    Yes, all perimeters will change. That’s why width is the safest perimeter to go by for doing chest or back armor. Even helmets

    I'm sure this is a simple build for someone with experience, but fast forwarding the video through the actual tutorial bits doesn't really help those who are new to foam crafting. It would be really nice to see where you actually make the bevel cuts, to be able to follow along and build this as a someone new to it.

    When you add those ledges or lips to the edges (3:20) of the template, are they cut on an angle?

    The edge that will glue on it would be angled but you really need to reference the Pepakura model for that or other points of connection.

    Yes, it could work but it would need to be modified based on the individual female form. You’d make these adjustments with the paper template before transferring to foam.

    Heat gun or hair dryer. Remember to keep the heat gun or hair dryer moving back and fourth at all times. You don’t want to burn the paint and foam to where it’ll bubble the sealant.

    @@Heroesworkshop ok. Thanks. Even if the foam is a thin craft foam? A hanger accidentally pressed against symbol. Now its has wrinkle marks sadly. Bend marks. Like wripples from the hanger lifting it up. Afraid its damaged

    It should work but remember not to aim it too closely and keep the heat gun or hair dryer moving.
