Cosmic Wonders

Ғылым және технология

Cosmic Wonders presents a stunning series of 18 astronomy visualizations. Each sequence combines Hubble Space Telescope images or research computer simulations with scientific knowledge and insight to create three dimensional visions of awesome celestial sights. Created by astronomers and artists at the Space Telescope Science Institute, all of the individual visualizations are available for viewing on the Hubble Space Telescope channel on KZread and for download at hubblesite.org.

    The incredible awesomeness of our Universe! This brought me to tears! We should be so thankful we exist in this brief speck of time, where we can appreciate the beauty and vastness of our Universe as we fly through space on this beautiful blue marble we call Earth! My problems melt away when I look upon it!

    There's only one error in this video: if an observer flies this fast and far they should see the nebulas and stars relative shape and position change. We see the sky objects back in time, and if we come closer, we should see them change.

    Why is the Triangulum excluded from the Milkomeda merger? Gatekeeping's not cool, man.

  • @hubblespacetelescope

    @hubblespacetelescope

    Жыл бұрын

    The visualization of the merger between the Milky Way and Andromeda is based on research computer simulations. In about a third of those simulations, the Triangulum did indeed become part of the merger. In the one we chose to visualize, the Triangulum stays separate, at least for the roughly 8 billion years of the simulation.

    Imagine thinking all these wonders came into existence by mere natural processes, random chance, and a lot of time. Worship Jesus Christ who create d it all! And He will return one day to create a new heavens & a new earth, free from physical decay and moral corruption. (Revelation 21). Repent and turn to Him today, while He still grants you breath to do so. Psalm 19:1 "The heavens declare the glory of God, and the sky above proclaims his handiwork."
