I feel so....insignificant

I like the sounds of space

The thing about cosmic horror sounds that's scary is the fact that in space there is no sound, so those sounds either come from within your ship or whatever is making them is sending them directly to your mind

There is no air in space, but that doesn't mean there is no sound. In fact, it would be weird if there isn't sound of some kind in space. Either way, it says this was picked up by a radio telescope.

@boredom2go "sound" as we can hear it can literally only be created by soundwaves, vibration of air hitting your eardrums. A radio telescope doesn't pick up sound it picks up radio waves which are actually light, if you've ever heard the recordings of such it was altered by matching the frequency of the lightwaves with artificially created soundwaves.

@boredom2go water can still carry vibrations, but it has a different density, therefore it makes everything sound different. You could also hear through walls. However in space there is NOTHING that CAN vibrate to create sound. The density of space is roughly 1 atom per cubic metre, impossible to carry any kind of wave...
