Hi Pastor Skip- as a fellow pastor, may I may offer this up. "Male child" is a poor English translation, in the Aramaic and Hebrew rendering the word here is Zakar meaning Male offspring. Jesus does not fit in with the description of v.5; caught away, which is the same definition used in Thessalonians. Jesus upon His ascension was not snatched away or kidnapped, but was raised/ascended. Regarding v.5 to rule with a rod of iron, Rev. 2:26-27 speaks of those who overcomes and keeps the works of the Lord shall indeed have "power over the nations and he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I received from my Father."

That is correct: in addition John was told about things to come , so it certainly can never be, that it talked about Jesus or better Yahushua. And on a side note : Ruling with an iron rod can be done by appointing someone ..just like baptism. The word here is proxy

Hello @teresarommel! Thank you for watching our KZread videos! While there is not a direct reference to demons or demonic spirits being thrown out of heaven the symbolism in the Bible appears to indicate the same story twice with slightly different details. Revelation chapter 12 verse 3 introduces a "great, fiery red dragon having seven heads and ten horns". Followed by verse 4 whereby "His tail drew a third of the stars of heaven and threw them to the earth". Here we have a dragon drawing exactly a third of the stars in heaven not the heavens and they fall to the earth. In the same chapter verse 9 says "So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him." Now we have two versions of the same story whereby the dragon, that is in heaven is named and given identity and is cast out of heaven and along with him angels out of the same heaven where Satan was already. Where did sin come from? Well God allowed Lucifer to have the pride. God could have stopped it then but he didn’t. God allowed it to continue to even today!

What if “satan” isn’t what you think? Who brought the evil on Job? Job 42:11 (KJV) Then came there unto him all his brethren, and all his sisters, and all they that had been of his acquaintance before, and did eat bread with him in his house: and they bemoaned him, and comforted him over all the evil that the LORD had brought upon him: every man also gave him a piece of money, and every one an earring of gold. What is a “satan”? God’s opposition, or mans? Isaiah 45:6-7 (KJV) 6 That they may know from the rising of the sun, and from the west, that [there is] none beside me. I [am] the LORD, and [there is] none else. 7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these [things]. Daniel 4:35 (KJV) And all the inhabitants of the earth [are] reputed as nothing: and he doeth according to his will in the army of heaven, and [among] the inhabitants of the earth: and none can stay his hand, or say unto him, What doest thou? The translators picked when the word was used, over adversary, and a concordance helps sort it out. Here is One of Solomons “satan’s”- 1Ki 11:25 (KJV) - And he was an adversary to Israel all the days of Solomon, beside the mischief that Hadad did: and he abhorred Israel, and reigned over Syria. Adversary- satan in the Hebrew.

I would humbly submit that Jesus ascended and not raptures which is the Greek/Arabic rendering in Rev 12. Highly recommend that you listen to Mark Correll and his view on Rev 12. He's a scholar on the Mazzaroth/the heavens and brings great clarity to how God communicates with His people. Gen 1:14 is a great place to start. Also, read in Job of the interaction with God and Job and finally read Psalm 19. There is so much more to the story as God does as He promised which is to reveal more when we are near the end. To Daniel, "seal it up/shut it up", and to John on Patmos, "Seal it till the end". Iron sharpens iron and if we genuinely want to know the Truth, it is available to us all. I believe everything in Revelation 12 occurs in the second half of the 70th week of Daniel... The Revelation 12 timeline of events: 1. Michael, the archangel who restrains evil and lawlessness from the people of God, shall arise and defeat Satan in heaven. (Daniel 12:1; 2 Thessalonians 2:7; Revelation 12:7-8] 2. Satan and his angels are cast to the earth. [Revelation 12:4,9] 3. This is when the son of lawlessness commits the abomination of desolation in the power and activity of Satan. [2 Thessalonians 2:4,9] 4. All the saints in salvation history are resurrected/raptured (made perfect together - Hebrews 11:40, 12:23). This includes the "wise virgins" who were ready, and doing the will of the Father at the bridegroom's return. [Revelation 12:5; Matthew 25:1-13; Luke 12:35-48] 5. The foolish virgins, "the rest of her offspring," are overcome by Satan and will sacrifice their lives as martyrs for Christ, their Lord. [Revelation 12:17; Revelation 14:13-14]

In Revelation 12 the woman is clothed with the sun. Jesus is called the sun of righteousness in Malachi 4. Israel is not clothed with Christ. They as a nation are not born again. So the 7th head is the antichrist world government. V4 Stars in the scriptures are used to represent saints. Abraham's seed is compared to stars in Genesis. and in Dan 12:3 and those who lead the many to righteousness, like the stars forever and ever. NASU. Many other verses state this. The dragon wants to devour the child as soon as it is born. Herod did not try to kill jesus as soon as he was born. He tried to kill those 2 years old and younger. Those that overcome are given authority by Christ to rule with a rod of iron Rev 2:26-27. I have not seen pastors that will even look at all these passages before giving their sermon. Therefore, The woman has to be the church and the manchild has to be overcoming saints within the church that is born. Each gives birth to its own kind. A church begets a church. Eph 4:7 until we all attain to the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a mature man, to the measure of the stature which belongs to the fullness of Christ. NASU. Also the earth is waiting for the manifestation of the sons of God Ro 8:19 Further, the horns or ten kings are not even crowned until the next chapter. The tribulation saints don't begin to get martyred until revelation 13. The beast makes war with the saints and overcomes them. The antichrist is not even revealed, in his position of power, until 13:5 and the false prophet until chapter 13. So you have 3 1/2 years of tribulation before the antichrist reigns? I don't think so. revelation 12 demonstrates that the one world government will exist prior to the rapture. The tribulation cannot start until the antichrist is appointed king. Revelation 12 is a strong proof text for the pretribulation rapture. Scripture is always the best interpreter of scripture. If you look up the individual elements, (Nouns) in a concordance and go through all the cases you can come to the correct answer. The scriptures will give the type and the fulfillment.

I don't believe Jesus will be born twice. The Child = the church who raptures (the body of Christ)

it had to be a reference back to jesus. rev 12 is the only book of rev that is not in chronological order. edit it might be about christians because rev 2 26 To the one who is victorious and does my will to the end, I will give authority over the nations- 27 that one ‘will rule them with an iron scepter and will dash them to pieces like pottery’[b]-just as I have received authority from my Father. 28 I will also give that one the morning star. 29 Whoever has ears, let them hear what the Spirit says to the churches.

I made it to about the 10 minute mark, but had to stop. Because first of all- the sun, moon and stars in the Tanakh in Joseph's dream are not exactly the same as Revelation 12 and the symbolism of the woman Rev 12. This teacher says Joseph saw in his dream 12 stars bowing down to him, as the 12 stars in the woman's Garland. Not true. It is written that he saw 11 stars bowing down, not 12. Secondly, Isreal in the Bible (not politics) is a people not a political nation, and not just the Southern kingdom of Judah (2 tribes,) It seems quite impossible to me that a man can properly teach spiritual warfare if he can't even get scripture right 🙄
