This makes me want to not go into work tomorrow until one minute before clock out time and lock eyes with my boss' boss from outside his open office door while he's on a conference call. He'll motion me in. I'll slowly shake my head no with a Malcolm McDowell grin. As I stride out, he will wonder if he will ever see me again. He'll wonder if he'll come out to the parking lot to find his tires slashed. He'll stumble over his words and have to explain himself to the CEO. Kinda reminiscent of early Dream Theater without the over the top keyboard and vocals

The constant variation in the drums, tempos, time signatures, changes, the interesting bass grooves, and the ethereal guitar tones fading to power riffs full of tri-tones and a healthy dose of delay, give it a very Rush-like feel. With Neil Peart passing away, I thought I'd heard the last of anything like this. Geddy Lee style vocals over the top of this would make my brain rupture.

Honestly first that comes to mind is a band called HOBA, they released their self-titled last year on MrDoom as well

That cover art friggin' rules!!!! And then the music starts.....I'm intrigued..... Ok I looked at Bandcamp. No physical cd....or vinyl for people into spending too much on that stuff. Well....off to the high seas then arr. I don't do digital only.
