Sono veramente perfetti... Per me don Alfonso È Montarsolo e Guglielmo Furlanetto... Non esistono altri artisti che interpretino così bene questi personaggi

What on earth did they do to Despina (Teresa Stratas)'s voice? Her voice does not sound at all like that.

She's playing a character role here (twisting her voice to sound like an old doctor).

She is playing a role here within the opera. This is absolutely the correct thing to do, and it is in no way representative of any failure of her wonderful voice.
I can't understand why harnoncourt standed all that...

I agree with all... this is an awful rendition of the best opera moments...
Quella Despina è orribile.
Everything goes well until that stupid anti musical unpleasant version of doctor
Tanto quanto è sublime la prima parte, altrettanto inaudbile e fastidiosa è la seconda, con l'arrivo del medico. Mi spiace, ma questa esegarazione vocalica scherzosa risulta a mio avviso fastidiosa.
