I had never heard Ms. Chilcott's voice before--the loss was mine. She certainly was a complete artist. Would that his performance could be made availabe. A fitting testimony to her artistry.
This is just plain wonderful.
Es maravilloso, no puedo entender como hay a ocho personas que no les guste el video, pero hay gustos para todo
RIP Susan....you really were an inspiration.
What a beautiful singer, in all sense of the word, and what a tragic loss
Fantastic. And indeed, what a tremendous loss for anyone who cares for opera.
wow!, love this performance, só perfect and beautiful sung!! thank you! kind regards from Josefien from the Netherlands
She sings great!! Super! :)
Breathtaking!!!! Thank you!
Utterly superb.
this is amazing...
Lordandmaster,Elizabeth S. is the non plus ultra...She comes second to none.
6:59!!! the run!
I can't upload but I presume you mean the Met production with Allen, Mentzer, Hadley, Croft and Allen. I happened to see that and can confirm that Vaness's version of Per Pieta was indeed magnificent- possibly the best I've ever seen with Te Kanawa a close second.
Vocalvideos : I agree every word of your post.
@vocalvideos 40 years, of breast cancer, in 2003; same cause as Tatiana Troyanos 10 years earlier.
does anyone know where i can buy this dvd?
Very bad Italian, but what a voice. I love it.
So sad :'(
The death of Susan Chilcott was an immense loss.
I know her son.
Wow, I didn't expect to hear all this scooping.
There are so few recordings of this wonderful voice. Do you know if this performance is available on CD or DVD? The only recordings I've found of Chilcott are non-Mozart pieces.
she's very good indeed, but I must say that in my opinion she can never reach LA BARTOLI
Argg. beautiful, but her pronounciation is definitely not good.
bad bad italian... unfortunately!!
