Economic classes needs to teach people the way Cliff taught Theo in this scene. This scene is priceless. Hard to believe that this was 1984. In spite of what has happened to Bill Cosby, I still love the Cosby Show. Still one of the greatest shows ever on television.

He was one of the best comedians of all time, and not just because of the nature of his humor, but because he didn't take the all-too-easy route of peppering his jokes with swearing and vulgarity. Old-school stuff? Sure, but a sign of natural, absolute talent. Glad he's FREE! LL

Cliff tells Theo that Theo will get $1,200 a month and then $350 will be deducted for taxes. About 30% is deducted from your paycheck for taxes. Cliff explains that the government comes for the regular people first. My girlfriend is an accountant and she says that's very true. Rich people have tax protection plans and poor people hardly have any money to take so the regular people are the ones the government goes after first.
