He practiced, you need to remember that too... 8hrs a day, he said that in one of his worship sections.

I just can't even describe how amazing this is. So far removed from the same 5 chord progressions that you hear every day. The way he is not so consumed with the basic melody of the song but still weaves it in and brings it back to the foundation of the song is brilliant.

Five years down the line I still find this fresh and refreshing. Cory is legend.

I'm really not a religious guy... but man that song moves moves right now.

Bro beautifully merged Ravel, Debussy, Liszt and Brahms along with jazzy and bluesy stuff to form an improvised masterpiece. This gives me inspiration for going deeper on trying to understand what it really means to improvise on the piano. Absolutely mesmerizing!
