There's already one CHIMPS corvus and a 0-0-0 Dart Monkey on logs, that shit feels impossible

I feel like having 800 temporary lives during CHIMPS is SO broken. If you can't have any other towers generate lives, I feel like that should be off limits too. Nonetheless, Corvus clearly OP and has a meta to learn.

As someone who loves to mortar the micro, this is my new favourite hero.

Nicely done with the Corvus Pirate Lord 2TC Hbomb! Corvus looks like they would belong on the Pirate Lord's ship.

One thing I was disappointed in not seeing but knew it wasn’t in rightfully, was the fact that Corvus didn’t really have spells meant for support. This would’ve been really dope as it would make Corvus way more versatile and enjoyable to use

I can see how fun Corvus is/can be - but he's way too much micro for my tastes. I did complete several test runs of Chimps rounds with him last night to test him out - and I did find some strategies that can help reduce the need to endlessly micro (relentless glue, and other stalling tactics to keep bloons in his range while his spirits do the heavy lifting keeps his mana pool topped off to the point where you don't have to worry about your toggles running dry and shutting down), so he won't gather dust in my stable -- but he definitely won't be my go to when I am just looking to do some casual bloon popping.

For leads you can use pushback to group them up, then cull them with the scythe ability, it's a bit cheaper and for first 2 lead waves will guarantee you get max spirit from them

I love the complexity of the heroes we get nowadays, they can make for some really intuitive stuff. Also, idk if this is a hot take, but I'd rather get more new heroes than Paragons. Dont get me wrong, I do understand that these types of heroes take much longer to make. I just think they're conceptually more interesting, and fun. Regardless, ty Ninja Kiwi 🙏

Corvus's shield sounds like a chimps early game meta ngl

fact: this tower (along with sauda and geraldo) is actually banned in the 2tc index, because the towers mentioned can 1tc. corvus was just too expensive.

He can actually 1TC chimps on logs, maybe on other maps. Problem is his cost- which requires extra money in the start to afford.

Buffs only apply to himself, the spirit can't accept Alch or Overclock etc. It only seems to buff Corvus himself and his haunting. It ~might work on Ancestral Might but that's a stretch at best and not all the time even if it were true, which I only speculate. Corvus has no special buff restrictions it seems, however, so finding just what they all do on him will require testing. ISAB gave him an Alch and he accepted it, for example.

I see a lot of people clamoring to say that he's OP, but I think they're blinded by recency bias and his flashy tools. He has a lot of utility, but he has resources to manage. He has global range, but he seems to share heli-pilots weakness against multilane maps, because the spirit jumps between lanes so much. The spirit also doesn't receive most buffs, which is a big deal in a buff revolving meta. As a hero who works well without buffs and has inbuilt damage to all bloon types, he is of course an excellent candidate for 2TCs, but that doesn't define the strength of a tower.

Pro tip: if u spam his first ability u get around 100-150 mana per use even in the earlier rounds. U can get about 2 use in each time before the mana to xp ability is refreshed.
