My son and I went to Ron Fellows owners school and absolutely loved it. Amazing experience. My son of course was much faster 😮. I did add the extra insurance and felt we knew worse case it would only be $2,000. In damages.

Hi, I couldn’t agree more, I have a 2020 C8 that I did the same to the wheels and love it. Chrome wheels need to be an option!!! I also have a 2023 ZO6 and had the wheels chromed on it also.

“Welcome to Studio S” love it. I recommend the Ron fellows insurance. I took a Z06 off track in a place I would never dream it was possible. No damage but I thought I was cooked. It wasn’t fun.

Almost to 1000 likes…should get there sometime tomorrow! 🙌 The extra insurance at Ron Fellows is certainly worth it…allows you to be a bit more aggressive and anytime on track there is always a chance something can happen!

This Tuesday video is one of your best because there wasn’t a lot extra talking and you stuck to answering questions.

Nice show and no one wears a pair of glasses like Chuck, Man that white C8 in the background is fire. I usually do not like chrome wheels but that one looked good.

Another reason to not start your Corvette, for short periods, during winter storage is that unless the engine gets up to temperature (and I mean the oil, not the water temperature), condensation remains in the oil, and it doesn't get hot enough to vaporize the moisture out which can cause problems by corrosion. So, if you want to start your Corvette periodically during winter, pick a nice day and take your baby for a nice long ride.

Get the insurance it doesn’t cost that much extra we were there right after thanksgiving by far the best thing my husband has ever done wouldn’t take a chance he wasn’t the fastest or the slowest but he did keep the shinny side up good times for all

Chuck’s answer to whether you should start your vehicle periodically during winter storage was all about the battery and electrical system. But what about from the perspective of the engine, spark plugs etc? Assuming you have a battery charger on it all winter, is if a good idea the start it periodically or not?

Thanks for doing the tech Tuesdays. I know I have a lot to learn. Got my first Corvette 2 weeks ago tomorrow. Picked up at NCM and loving it. When I hit about 90 miles my passenger seatbelt locked up and won’t release. Is this a known issue. Dealer told me they haven’t seen this happen before.

Getting excited about it but also frustrated as I am in Indiana which is not good for driving a new C8 in Jan - Feb. Lol!! Will still be worth it.

Rick I bought my c8 middle of December drive it home put it in the garage and put the cover on it for the winter. But I didn't put anything under the tires, as I don't want to start the car up just to move it should the tires be okay since they are brand new.

Question, how do you get a hold of the winner and verify who they are and how to connect them given we all have screen names not our actual names? Comment regarding the owner who was wondering if he should change his oil and the DCT filter come this spring after winter hibernation. Not only is it unnecessary. Given his stated concerns about preserving his engine and DCT he should have absolutely put on at least 500 miles being putting it into storage!

You should drive it whenever you can. I was out in my C8 yesterday(before the snow) and when roads are clear I’ll have it out again. This is my 2nd winter and have yet to put it on a battery tender.
