Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары
You read that right, Scott's 1967 C10 has a Corvette IRS with our Detroit Speed DECAlink™ suspension system!
Check out the video with Project Fabricator Matt Butts to go front to rear on this build and learn what we did to add some Pro-Touring flair to this classic American truck. We went from mild street truck to wild street truck.

I HAVE ALWAYS WANTED TO TURN MY 87 C10 INTO A TRACK TRUCK !! Had no idea it could be done so relatively easy and had no idea about these front and rear independent suspension kits as well as the Silverado brake upgrade that will take a huge set of Brembo rotors and calipers. I’m going to give you guys a call first thing tomorrow!!! I’m ecstatic right now! I thought I would have to go completely 100% custom and spend 100k plus to do something like this. I have a Ls7 in my garage now as well as a LS3 and L99 all have less than 10k miles on them and my truck is absolutely mint. Can’t wait to speak with them tmrw!
Scott's C10 Looks like a show and go winner. My favorite part is the Vette IRS and frame grafted in. Serious visionary skills at work here.
You are an ARTIST!!!!!! everything about this truck is my dream!!!!!!
If i were to ever have a truck built by someone, Detroit Speed would be my go-to shop for sure👌

Wow! That c10 is looking 🔥
This is what I hope to have done soon to my 08 Silverado. Is to have an IRS installed.
Damn. I want a C10 build just like this. 🔥🔥🔥
Absolutely bad ass man. I’m about to start building a 1958 Apache big glass project. I was thinking about a independent rear suspension also. Thanks for the inspiration.
Gangster set up. Thanks for sharing. It's given me some tips on how I want my 68 C10 set up.

Awesome job guys! Some of the best fab guys in the business.
Very clean. Should definitely haul arse!!
With this epic suspension set up this weapon is crying out for boost. Especially with all that real estate under the bonnet. Love it.

My 68 c-10is my daily driver...blue print 435 hp 383 aluminum heads full roller...vintage air...suburban tank under the bed...cowl hood...holley sniper efi...dish mag wheels. It needs rockers only rust on it...i met the man that bought it new its in primer with flames on it...i drive it everyday and I live in arizona...love me some holley efi and vintage air
Love it bet that thing flys with that ls7 in there
Beautiful Truck, Freakin Awesome Everything, thanks for Sharing n God Bless All.
Looks good but , your rotor slots look like they’re going in the wrong direction. At least from all the drill slotted I bought have instructed me to put them the other way.
Well, hot damn, someone finally (at 4:21- 4:39) has enough sense to make the transmission tunnel removable (bolts), future engineering as I call it. I would like to see these as kits, with reusable (silicone?) gaskets... This would make servicing (R&R) the transmission soooo much easier...

My 68 had them, think it was called a hi hump tunnel.
Nice work
Very cool truck! I did this to a 66 C10 in 1998. Very cool way to go for a C10 as the track width is very close to a stock. And these days you can pick up C3 parts cheap!!

Hey I’m looking to do this on a 1990 c1500 will it work?
Super nice 👍🏾 🔥🔥🔥
One of the best C10 builds I've seen. What flare tool do you guys use on the SS hardline to match up to the AN fittings on the fuel pump?
Wow the yenko Camaro ❤
I love this.

I have a project coming up and it will be relevant to something of this nature but will be using as much of the stock parts but the body will be redone to certain specifications that I have in my head cause none of this is on paper
The dreaded question.... What something like this run $$$?
Very cool chassis

very cool. any thoughts on running the exhaust from the mufflers, back above the drivetrain, by raising the bed height, as its not for hauling lumber anyways.
That suspension would be nice on my 1972 Blazer two wheel drive I am working on. LS3 goes in a month or so.

Awesome! I really like the irs. I hate dog houses lifted bed floors. What's the width of the front wheels? Hows the steering angle with the wide wheels? Are you running the dana 44 center section?
Sweet Jesus!
I love all your products 👏👍👍 Would you happen to have any info where the body parts were purchased were purchased?
@detroitspeed

We did not purchase these, they came on the truck when we received it in, so I am unable to answer that.
Has Detroit Speed done a build like this but a station wagon? I definitely wouldn't mind having something like that but in a wagon. Especially because you don't see wagons as much anymore.

So is the C3 corvette rear a package you guys offer on C10s? What kind of price on something like that?
Is it a c4 with the double dog bones
We completed my 78 C10 last year with complete GEN 5 camaro drive train motor / trans and IRS rear including all the brembo brakes. All components are available for conversions from 60 to 87 thru Animalsspeedshop.com if any interest in simple kits. Very cool riding truck to say the least.
What is the bore size on the master cylinder? I want to run the Baer Remaster on a 11” booster but not sure the biggest bore I can run.
what something light this cost to do on my 1967 c-10 same setup ballpark
i really hope you find a way to protect those fuel lines next to the rr tire. think about that for a minute

nice truck what type of wheels are those
@detroitspeed
3 жыл бұрын
Those wheels are from Billet Specialties.
Where do I buy this front end?
Is it common for there being no wheel tubs in the engine compartment? Or are they being custom built for another episode?
Love the truck but the fuel lines outside of the frame near the rear wheels seems dangerous.
Only change I would've requested would've been to keep the fuel lines inside the frame rails for safety reasons. A side impact could lead to a ruptured fuel line - fire. Aside from that, it's legit.
@dickhertz5973

I was thinking the same, also all that tire shredding wouldn't be doing those lines any good.

So she's a c13
I dig the rims and the paint! MAGA
Lol, why? The Corvette's got all the weight of the brake calipers and discs dangling at the end of axles. The Jaguar is far superior. Guess you go for cheaper over better.
It gets to the point where it would be better to have the corvette that the rear end came out of. The truck thing is way too far.
Made it to the slammed part and couldn't watch another butcher job.
