I used to do the 2-bucket method. Then I saw someone doing this "towel method" - and I started doing this a year ago, and am never going back. It's better and faster IMO. Though I didn't use 8 sides per towel... I just folded it in half - and used 4 sides per towel. I found it'd sometimes come unfolded while washing - so I'd call that whole side "spent" if that happened - and get a fresh one. Honestly, I have so many micro fiber towels in rotation anyways - so if it takes 6-8 towels per wash, who cares, they're cheap...

Must be nice to have a garage to wash a car in! Little different process when working outdoors, especially in the sun.

I'm personally just using a spray bottle & microfiber towels on my C8Z06 (ceramic/Revivify coated). I'm only at 1700 miles in SoCal, so haven't had the need for more (yet). However taking a long trip to Laguna Seca/Monterey this week to watch some Indy racing, so we'll see if I need to step up the process after a 15 hour drive. C8 looks fire.

What kind of material towels did you use and the size of the towels? Where did you get the rolling wash bucket? I received my c8 Z06 in Oct 2023 and it has been in the garage for the winter and never washed, I like and will try your method.

Why pressure wash before low presssure grime removal and foam cannon?! Seems like a good way to grind dirt into the paint

Question. Since these cars aren’t driven much and don’t have lots of brake dust, why do you use wheel cleaner and not just soap and water? I wash my wheels weekly with soap and water only and nothing sticks. I’d assume regular use of wheel cleaners will remove any ceramic coating and slowly over time damage the finish?
