Corvette C6 Stock 100,000 mile LS2 Dyno Test!

Спорт

Dyno testing my Corvette C6 A6 on a DynoJet at Palomar College. Only modifications are Z06 bi-mode mufflers with the muffler mod done. Just over 100,000 miles on it and wanted to see how it was doing. Still going strong!
Two runs :
1st 340/347
2nd 345/354

100k miles on LS engine is like 10k in a Honda Civic

you are WRONG, civic can handle 100k like cake just like the LS can, infact LS V8 and Civic can both handle over 200k easy, I own both. But it's amazing the times we are in that you can see a American V8 in the LS series be as reliable as small Japan engines yet make so much power.

@@panzerwaffen2873 what the hell does roll racing have anything to do with Civics being reliable? Are you smoking something? I own a LS V8 now and it would walk over any Honda/Acura I have ever owned, even the Type-S 3.5L V6 I've owned before. You should've have skipped school, read my comment. You're trying to tell me the sky is blue, okay....

Have to agree with Maria with this one, she's talking about reliability and then you want to start roll racing Civics? She is spot on, she wouldn't care to roll race a little Civic with her LS V8 and I wouldn't neither with my LS V8, don't even waste your time and bother roll racing little Civics, but if that's what you like panzer go have fun.

not bad slap on some ported LS3 heads and rod modded intake and a cam and you probably gain 100+rwhp but not bad for a stock A6 LS2

king p they're actually the GM Z06 rear splash guards! on the wide-body fenders, there are these push in tabs on them that pop into slots on the panel. The regular fenders dont have them so I just removed the two tabs with a Dremel. No modification needs to be done to the fenders!

350 wheel relates to more then 370 crank hp,if yours is only 370 crank you might want to look in to all that shit you said cuz there rated at 400 crank with 15%drive train loss equates to about 340 wheel give or take So I'm thinking he's right where he should be!

Paul R from 05-07 they're 400/400 at the crank. all cars have drive train loss, which is usually about ~15%. plus being an A6, I loose like 5-7 more over the manual. puts me right in that ballpark. it's really lame that manufacturers do this, but it's common. my buddy did his '12 911 turbo at the same time. It says it's 530hp at the crank, the test shows its ~455 rwhp.

That's right where it should be? Actually performed better than expected considering the mileage. LG Motorsports pulled a 357hp new from the factory on a manual car. For the automatic you lose ~12-15. So even with 100k miles its performing right near factory level.
