Bastianini nasce come basso e si sente non si può paragonare a Tito Gobbi due interpretazioni diverse e non ce ne e' una più bella

I remember back in 1980 when I was 17 years old in Liverpool I was told by Les Ingham and Ron Swanson that this Bastianini voice was clean and clear. They had houses on White hedge Road in Garston . I miss them and their wives now that they have left us. I still try to sing for pure joy. Happy Days . Maybe Golden Days too. I was a Student at the time.

I think this is the Schirmer score which does not include a high G.

I have the Schirmer score for the entire opera (of which I believe this is taken) and correct, no G4.

Зачем такобожествлять Бастионнини.Ведь Хворостовский тоже потрясающий в Ригалетто и очень похож на Бастианнини....

I had to stop listening to this! An exquisite voice, but doing what? Sounding as beautiful as possible without the slightest regard for the emotional meaning, that's what. If you listen to Leo Nucci or, of course, Tito Gobbi, the anguish is palpable and devastatingly moving. That is theatre, not this cold vocal perfection.
