Technically it's the other way around but yeah, San's blasters have a kinda animal skill shape, and Cortez has a longer nose, making his skull more animal like than human, and given he has a snake form, maybe he was some kinda Spanish snake pirate?

One of the best Nintendo content creators.

For Crump's laugh, I always think of Eggman's "OH HO HO HO HO!" laugh and then change the OH to Buh

Not that it’s important, but I was using Ms. Mowz to find anything in the pirates grotto and at 4:12 there’s not only one, but two hidden blocks. It literally took me ages to figure what was going on.

Never played this game before and initial thoughts when I bought it last week were oh I’m not gonna like this, but playing along with you, I’m absolutely loving it!! Thank you for your brilliant videos, your hilarious commentary, you make playing this game a total joy!!

10:02 Mrs. Mowz keeps telling me there is something near where the shine sprite it but I tried using Madam Flurrie, bobbery, hammer, everything I can think of. Edit: no, no, never mind. It was another hidden coin block where the shine sprite is.

Voices are great, and I can see where you were thinking for Cortez, but I was getting more of a Pepe the Prawn feel from it.

Huh. That first shine sprite in this one was better hidden in the old version, by a longer stalactite, and you had to rely on seeing it from the sides, thanks to the parallax scrolling, and then lining up your jump without being able to see it. Just a minor thing I noticed. Not a huge deal one way or another, I guess. :P

Cortez says something different in the remake.

The Black Pearl is also a fast ship like the Black Skull is. It can travel 3 times faster than Flavio's ship. 25:54 A millennium? Does this game take place in 2547 AD? Peach was supposed to be hesitant on taking off her clothes >:(. Why change that? If Peach was truly invisible she'd be blind because her retina would be transparent. The Invisible Man (2020) was more realistic because he had a sci-fi bodysuit with cameras that made him invisible. That's more plausible. The director didn't like the idea of using a potion to become invisible. 37:24 How is Lord Crump already back to the mainland before Mario? I doubt his ship could move faster than Cortez's ship. All that metal would slow it down. Did he have a teleporter installed on that ship?

I’ve said before that Chapters 3 and 4 were my favorite chapters, but I like Chapter 5 quite a bit as well. Really, all the chapters are good.

I went into this fight with Cortez with Vivian and I opened up using Power Lift. And it turns out that Cortez couldn’t deal any damage while Vivian’s Fiery Jinx as well as Mario’s power jump could pull numbers over 10 How was power lift not nerfed in this remake 😂

I did him one better. I one-rounded all three phases (aside from two set-up turns, one at the beginning and the other at the start of phase 3) This let me skip the part where he eats the souls of the audience, which I wasn't actually aware I could do

I got 1 room ahead of you and stupidly used vivian to get past the wall of spikes in the room with the waves. Almost every time i get ahead i have to back track due to a hidden star piece or something lol why do i do this to myself

17:45 well I don’t recommend Vivian for that faze of the fight There’s a partner that can deal with the weapons even better than Vivian and she’s called Flurrie Gale force permanently removes weapons

No, they mean the action command. Spin Jump has two. You're getting the first A press right, but not the second one where he ground pounds.

Took me a few attempts it was the timer for me so i used the stop watch on my phone

I hated the part where I have to make the potion.

You already said you are going to make dedicated videos for star pieces and shine sprites but are you going to do one for just the hidden blocks? Or is that too niche?

There’s a total of 15 hidden blocks in the game. And I think there’s only three that aren’t under/above a more important block-like this jammin jelly at the beginning. Let me see if this game requires it as a total before deciding on making that video
