This is an earlier (circa 2012-13?) model AF510E Edwin. They haven't been made in that colour scheme for quite a few years now. Still the same superb sounding guitar, current natural look models are now dark stained and called Open Pore or AF510(E) OP, and have a satin black headstock front instead of the brown stain. The other currently available colour of the 510s is satin black. Since early 2107, because of CITES, Cort have been substituting Merbau for their fingerboards on the AF51X series and AD810. Hard wearing, it plays much the same as Rosewood.

Yes. I just bought it few weeks ago. Made in Indonesia with merbau fretboard. I replace the strings with D'addario 0.10 - 047. Then I try to set the trusroad. But after that I'm still feeling that the tension still a little bit hard :D

I also use the guitar sir, the sound is crispy.I like it

sir what is the string gauge of this guitar installed when you buy from the store?

nice,just sub too hey i just got a black one, what strings do you use as the last owners stings are still on her are the pick up piezo and if i change the bridge to bone will it effect the pick up in any way, thanks for the demo.Cort AF510E PB,

Hi, thanks for the comment. For this video, I installed John Pearse Pure Nickel Wound guitar strings. I also use normally Phosphor Bronze and 80/20 Bronze from Martin or D'Addario. About the saddle replacement, I have replaced many saddles of acoustic electric guitars with bone saddles and I haven't encountered any problem at all. Just make sure that the saddle bottom is flat and squre. Good luck!

I never tried that, but usually, the cutaway version has less volume and a bit different tone due to less wood, particularly the guitar top.

I don't have this guitar anymore. Best is to measure the diameter of sound hole and check the specs of the feedback cover to which sound hole diameter it fits. Good luck!

AF510M - all mahogany body, AF510E - spruce top with E stands for Electric.

Depende sa specs na gusto mo. Bigger body ang AD810e (Dreadnought).

Cort AF510 has small body and very comfortable to play but less volume. Both Cort AD810 and Yamaha F310 are dreadnought shape with louder volume. They are almost at the same level. It is a matter of preference on sound and feel.

@Hiroto Kiyama What Edwin said. I have the AF510. Well two actually, one I converted to AF510EC(ustom) fitting a Fishman Presys Blend Pre-amp & Piezo. AF510 is sweeter treble, loses the boom bottom end but still has gobs of unamplified acoustic projection and volume for any venue smaller than an auditorium. AF510 Concert body is much more comfortable for me. I really like them regardless they don't cost much.

They are of the same quality but different body shape. So, it really depends on your preference.

True. The 810 which Dreadnought has louder volume and more bass response. While the 510 has more crisp and clear highs.

it really depends on what your are looking for. OP I think will give you more sound projection due to thin layer of finish. But NS has more protection and more stable with humidity changes. Just my thoughts.

Is the top laminated or solid??
