Lyrics:
I see the world through bloodshot eyes
Streets filled with blood from distant lies.
The dogs of war never compromise,
No real time for rearranging.
"Help me Jesus, help me clean my wounds"
He said he cannot heal that kind.
Bleeding soul becomes a bitter mind.
He said it happens every time (Knock it down)
And that's how the story goes (Knock it down)
In the land of a thousand no's (Knock it down)
I'm all over you in time my mind is changing.
Knock it down

Hope he will take me soon or find relief. Its funny how if your crippled and worn out you can't get pain medication to comfort the ride to paradise ,if we are broken and battered from years of building houses and construction work.Sorry About Your Luck. @@markevans4002 they were cast in the alt rock underground scene, as grunge was starting up, they could easily be mixed in with that genre, thats when I first heard them. 55 Been listening to COC since the '80's, when they were a hardcore band and had the cool spiked mask logo. They were a very different band back then - they were standing shoulder to shoulder with bands like Dirty Rotten Imbeciles (DRI), Agnostic Front and Cro Mags in the hardcore scene, and then in the late '80's that scene just kinda died when bands like Slayer got big, Black Metal showed up in a big way, and I guess there weren't enough skinheads to maintain it, even in NYC, where I'm from. There was always a dumb rivalry between skinheads and metalheads. Don't ask. It was dumb. I thought COC was done, and as far as I can tell they disappeared for a while. But years later, when I saw this video on some cable channel, imagine my surprise. This is a real good record. The guitar tone is amazing. COC is one of a handful of bands I've never seen live, and it kills me. I'm sure they pump out a wall of that rich, deep guitar sound, and this dude's vocals are top notch as well. So underrated. Hell, even DRI went metal on their 'Crossover' LP, and they went on to be a pretty popular band.

Now he's walking by with Jesus maybe teaching him how to play the drums ,flying with the archangels and jamming with the great musicians that has passed. Rip Reed mullin
Great guitar riffs!
I can hear the Lizzy oozing outta this one and I love it
COC is one of my favorites. Great aggressive rock.!!!!
hey beavis, this song kicks ass.
Bad song! Never forget the 1st time I heard it I was lookin in the mirror getting ready for the day in 94 i do believe. I couldn't get it outta my head! .Some things never change! ❤😉✌🤯⚘Rocks Me....😍❣
Got to see them open for Testament open for Iron Maiden in '91. Still probably my best show ever...
Timeless...Beautiful words contrast with the heavy riffs and attiude of this track....
Still underrated in 2019.
Bleeding soul becomes a bitter mind. Stay outta sharp blades, and realize that this is just one fun ride.
I'm 49 and loved COC for decades. I thought it was just me amd a few friends. Blind is the best
Oh yes yes I forgot how good it is...that harmonized solo intro, the groove so damn tight...oh yeah.
Most underrated band ever...
The rebirth of Thin Lizzy...love it!!!
Memories of the 90s flooding back!! Fml give anything to go back to the old days…. Society is beyond Fucked up these days. I miss the 80s+90s. What a great time to grow up
I remember being 10 years old in 94 when this came out and i heard it while walking though my shitty mountain town neighborhood and it blew my mind instantly. I can only remember two song as a real young kid that changed my life one is Clean my wounds and the other was Where Eagles Dare by The MISFITS.....man such good memories

COC is by far the most underrated bad ass musicians. Pepper is not a nice guy BTW, but I still love his intelligence and music. I saw them in Orange Park , Fl. in 1998 for 'Wiseblood' (which BTW is pure musical genius) at a venue there. Pepper was pissed off and so was I. It was me and my two other show watchers there. That was it. There was more people on staff at this venue than patrons or band members. I was a drunken idiot at that time, no longer. I stood 3 feet from every member of the band and Woody was the coolest. I completely understand Pepper's attitude that night. These guys are pure talent.
My favorite Corrosion of Conformity song from my favorite COC cd
Saw them open up for Metallica when they put out the load album, fucking blew me away!
When I first herd this song it was in the radio on metal night and I missed the name and my whole life I've had this song stuck in my head until I finally found it 😭😭 it's just as amazing now as it was then it still holds up makes even more sense now with everything being so biblical anymore
Goddamnit, Reed.......
OMG, I have been trying to figure out who does this song for years! I used to hear it on the radio when I was a teenager, and I never knew who the band was--just knew it sounded kind of like Metallica. So happy I finally found this!

You heard this on the radio?! Shit, I need to live where you live.
A heavily underrated band
this song is genius
the riff reminds me to Helena of Misfits
Got dam i miss these dudes they were a band that had it all great SINGING, great BASS, great GUITAR, and a really BAD MOTHERFUCKER on DRUM'S..........RIP ..REED MULIN......
Just what I needed to hear I'm good now.
RIP Reed Mullin. Always loved and remembered mate. COC forever.
Every generation has their own way of letting their aggression out through music, this is from my youth and you're welcome people cause you can't top this!!
