We have developed and refined materials and applications techniques for successfully applying coatings to pipe internals over a number of decades. One such application method is using the Corrocoat Agmec Pipe Spraying Equipment.
This video demonstrates the application of Corrocoat Fibrecoat to a 6” nominal bore pipe. Fibrecoat is designed to rehabilitate severely corrosion damaged pipes, and add exceptional mechanical strength. This is due to the addition of both glassflake and glassfibre.
Fibrecoat can be applied in pipes from 150mm to 1.2 metres in diameter, and lengths up to 100 metres using two different application tools dependent upon diameter. Fibrecoat can also be applied at thicknesses up to 3mm in a single coat meaning long pipes that have thinned or suffered pitting can be strengthened.
