check the bottom hole, either it is block or bottom most soil is very tight.

You explain really well... Iam a beginner gardener with a few plants in my mini balcony garden. I recently got a Lilly pilly plant. I have repotted it in a clay pot. I water it daily as the top soil always seem dry daily morning. But there are no more top red leaves as they were when I purchased the plant. I checked KZread and did some pruning a few days back but the soil always seem to be dry. So, I guess from this video, I may not be watering the plant enough till water comes out from the bottom of the pot and the pot is also of clay. Will try pouring more water and see.

It was a training for the beginners like me..thanks for this basic and very informative video.. keep up the good work and keep teaching us ♥️

Wow. I have got exactly same tile design in my balcony. I recently bought and renovated my home 4 months back. I chose exactly same tiles with leaves, lil less leaves and then no leaves tile pattern in my balcony.

Excellent video. i will follow these instructions A Question I have small seedlings of flowering plant mesembrythemum which is a succulent. Now being a succulent I should not water too much but its a flowering plant. So how often should I water these seedlings?

Thanks a lot for this video. I was certainly watering my plants wrong. I started following your guidelines and I am watering once every 3-4 days since its rainy season. I ensured the water is coming out from the holes before moving to next plant. Earlier I was just putting 1 mug water for small plants and 2 mugs for big plants every alternate days. For seedlings how to ensure appropriate watering is being done when they are in seedling trays?
