We would 1st make sure that we never receive Holy Communion in a state of mortal sin.....look around you ...long lines at Communion , no lines at Confession....breaks my heart 💔

@@leoniea138 Indeed. It actually upsets me to see the line. I always go to wknd masses after my Confession on Saturday, if required. I typically go every few weeks. Others? Don't know......

I know I know that I need 2 pray n make sure we don't have any sins I take it serious 2 received God ... because it's so very powerful . We pray 4 every one may the most sacred heart of jesus be love ,adore , blessed, glorified in the universal world now n 4ever more. Amen may every heart turn 2 jesus ..

My son received his first holy communion yesterday, Corpus Christi Sunday. He was so excited leading up to it in all of the classes, last night we usually pray and I read him a story from the Bible but yesterday he specifically requested the gospel of Matthew and Romans. There is nothing more beautiful than the joy of a child in reading and listening to the scriptures, and truly understanding the real presence of Christ in the Eucharist. His catechist teachers and the sisters who came to help the children taught them all about Blessed Carlo Acutis. My son is absolutely fascinated that a child and one of his generation, is about to be canonized as a saint. God bless you.

One of the first things I do, after welcoming Jesus into my Soul, with love and thanks, is to command the demons (for those over whom I have authority, as described by Fr Ripperger), bind them and send the, to the foot of the Cross by the power of the body, blood, soul and divinity of He whom I have just received and who is with me! I then ask, through Our Lady and Our Lord, of course, for all others. I don’t know. Just think,this is the most powerful moment to do that. Any thoughts?

Powerful prayers….considering you’re a living tabernacle for approximately 10 minutes after receiving the Eucharist this is the best time to pray. I’ve learned so much from fr ripperger and the saints and know our prayers are the most efficacious after receiving. I was unemployed during Lent and would go to mass often during the week and grew in my faith faster than any other time. I’m one of those people who need daily mass or at least multiple times during the week and since I’ve started working again I’ve noticed a decline in my fervor…prayer isn’t enough…confession and the Eucharist with prayer is so powerful though. If everyone started receiving in a worthy manner with reverence and faith filled prayer the world would change drastically. One person can make such a huge difference in so many lives I just wish more people knew their faith and were catechized properly. I know I wasn’t and the same is true for many in the last few generations

Maybe I'm wrong, but this is suspiciously close to Martin Luther's doctrine that we are dung, disguised by the blood of Christ. I don't think God the Father is fooled, mistaking is for Christ because we have taken Holy Communion. I believe that after much time spent in the state of Grace, taking the Holy Eucharist to feed ourselves spiritually, and much Penance, we grow to live IN Christ, and Christ IN us.
