    It is a little important to roll the injury dice to see how you put the enemy OOA, if you skull or flesh wound them out then you can take a 2" consolidate move, if you only seriously injure them then you have to choose coup de grace or 2" consolidate.

    Steve is such a good sport and really entertaining to watch. Escher had a tough mission as the CGC could start so close them. Remember changing your orientation isn't an action. Looking forward to seeing other gangs in action too and fingers crossed for a full campaign!

    Love the new style truly, it's much more engaging and your still able to keep track of everything even though I dont play necromunda. However I find the audio in some of the other videos to be rather wonky. Like sometimes it's really quiet and then other times isnt super loud and I have to constantly adjust the volume. Other than that it's super cool what you guys are doing :3

    Group activations only work if the models are all doing the same action. With the masks if you try to shoot them and fail the test you can't shoot again, as it's a basic action not a simple. Unless you have the rapid fire skill. Awesome video as always

    Would you guys say this is playable on a 3x3 table? that is pretty much my only option at the moment. The space in this video looks more like 4x4.

    In case you haven't started yet, my group plays on a 3×3 perfectly fine, we reduce deployment zones down to adjust but otherwise works really well. I've seen it argued online that 3x3 is actually a better setup for 'munda as you don't waste your first round or two walking into range, and it helps nerf the power of shoot heavy gangs (Van Saar for example) which can otherwise be obnoxioua

    No, you are not allowed to repeat, that is the whole point. You declare to do a Fight (basic) action and right before rolling dice for it, you need to make Willpower (not Cool) check to be able to do so and if you fail then that Action is ended. Fight (basic) action is failed due to failure of Willpower check, therefore you can not perform another Fight (basic) action because of the restriction on Basic actions.

    Pijamas Gagarin the rule on terrifying says the action cannot be preformed and the action ends immediately. You can interpret it either way imo. If the action is never preformed did you lose it? In the rules for basic action it says that they can only be “preformed” once per turn, you never preformed it and the rule for terrifying says that pretty explicitly. It comes down to how you define preforming an action, is it preformed when you declare or after it’s resolved.

    @@Syzl103 by this logic it means that I still have 2 actions left after failing Willpower check which is absurd and can lead to a abusing the mechanics, I could just continue rolling Willpower checks until I pass it. You start to perform an action when you declare it not when you have a result ready on a table.

    Pijamas Gagarin Here is terrifying as it is written, “Terrifying: If an enemy fighter wishes to make a Fight (Basic) or Shoot (Basic) action that targets this fighter, they must make a Willpower check. If the check is failed, they cannot perform the action and their action ends immediately.” You lose the action, it explicitly says. Preforming an action requires resolving it completely otherwise you don’t preform it.

    Corpsegrinder Cult is amazing against other combat gangs like Goliath. But against shooty gangs like Van Saar... you might as well surrender lol.

    The discussion you have around the 11 minuite mark, versatile he can use that weapon as a shooting attack up to the range, or as a close combat attack. Your models we're not engaged in close combat due to them not being in base to base as per the 1" rule. I think the discussion you have later regarding failed terror test and having a second chance at attack. I would say thats wrong. Just because your meant to declare your intension with the model when activating it, so you declared a close combat attack in that activation. And you can only make one basic close combat attack per activation, unless they got special rule. That's my interpretation anyways 😁 I think from the previous video, the template's should only be able to target a point on the battle field that is visable to the attacker, at least the defender could have a chance to consider that, IMO 😊 Very good video though, i love the terrain on this one and nice seeing you guys develop your understanding of the game and hoping to see the campign that you talked about in the future ✌️🤪

    The versatile rule states that you can "engage" a fighter up to the L range on the weapon's profile during your activation. So the fighter is engaged, but only for the duration of that fighter's activation.

    VERSATILE The wielder of a Versatile weapon does not need to be in base contact with an enemy fighter in order to Engage them in melee. During their activation or when making Reaction attacks they may Engage and make close combat attacks against an enemy fighter so long as the distance between their base and that of the enemy fighter is equal to or less than the distance shown for the Versatile weapon’s Long range characteristic. An enemy fighter is considered to be Engaged by a fighter armed with a Versatile weapon if they are within both the Long range of the Versatile weapon and the Vision Arc of that fighter. An enemy fighter may not in turn be Engaging the fighter armed with the Versatile weapon unless they too are armed with a Versatile weapon, and so may not be able to make Reaction attacks. At all times other than during this fighter’s activation or when making Reaction attacks, this trait has no effect. This is a copy/paste from the book that JUST dropped last week, which is basically revising a bunch of rules. It looks like not only does it count as engaged for that attack action but if you maintain line of sight, you count as engaged as well; so it IS that broken! Cawdor polearm walls, Corpsegrinder cutters with saws, etc are suddenly very scary!

    At all times other than during this fighter’s activation or when making Reaction attacks, this trait has no effect. It's only during your own activation. After that the enemy can do whatever.

    Check out the skirmish rules in the main rule book for one off games, they give you more credits and skills to start with, otherwise 1000 credits is standard starting point for campaign.

    My group plays with 1250, that way you can have some cool stuff starting out, and not be getting smashed because you couldn't afford respirators or Photo-goggles and armor.

    @@wargamereric9929 I don't find that to be the case. At least not near as bad as Necromunda. I play Space Hulk and Underworlds all the time and never have issues. Blackstone Fortress had one or two small ones, but nothing like missing explanations for weapon effect rules like the grenade in this case. How do you even forget to explain that?

    ​@@dustinboatman6134 ive not played any of those boxed games before so can't comment on them. But 40k, 30k, AoS, TItanicus...all of these have problems. Hence the numors FAQ's and erratas that come out for every release. Its just a staple of GW products sadly.

    Terrify sounds like extremely frustrating and anti-fun mechanic. I would get if failing a terrify roll would cause a penalty to the following action, but straight up removing actions from folks based on RNG sounds like complete bullshit.

    Love that you guys are covering Necromunda but you are massively missing the narrative point to the game. Give your gangs names give your gangers names, who’s the leader? Why are they fighting? sew some narrative into the battle... you do it so well with your other battle reports and Necromunda cry’s out for the narrative aspect.... it’s like your just playing a generic game of 40k and it comes across as a bit boring.
