KZread clearly has a thing against certain people. They don't apply the same algorithm and notification posting across the board. They favor those people they want to promote, not necessarily who should be promoted. Then they shadow ban those they want fewer people to see. I have noticed my notifications being expired on my phone earlier for some channels (significantly earlier than others for this channel) and some almost never expire as they will stay in my notification drop down for days afterwards. I almost never see a notification for this channel longer than two hours in my notification dropdown on my phone. Obviously the notification will still stay in my KZread subscriber notification list, but if anyone else is like me, I depend on my phone notification menu drop-down to see the newest notifications, and I don't scroll through my notification list for all the channels I've ever subscribed to directly within the app. I reported my feedback to KZread a few months ago with my observations and how much I don't appreciate how that works about it, but they never responded back.

You are absolutely correct about physical fitness. Disease disabled me. It doesn’t matter what I have previously done in my life. Without physical fitness, a person is useless. No matter the knowledge they possess. I am not giving up. But, so many things are either impossible for me to do, or, in the very least, very difficult to do. Take care of your health!

Sure hope those geese didn't get you. Mean bastards. I love these rope bridges, this and rappelling were always my favorite thing to train when I was in. I remember in boot camp, the Sergeant Major kept shaking my one rope bridge and telling me to fall off. "Hey, fall off already!" When I became an NCO, I got to enjoy messing with privates much the same way. I recommend mushing one's squad like a dog team down the beach and having squad races on mandatory fun days.

Another way for people that don’t have the strength to pull themselves upside down is to attach themselves with a carabiner at the waist to help support their weight and pull with their arms or even attach another rope and have someone help pull them from the other side if there are multiple people.

Regarding physical fitness: you get out only what you put in. At 66 years old, I’ve slowed a tad - but only a tad - and remain actively committed to ‘out athletical’ those who chose to sit on their keister. Semper, brother.

With two alpine butterflies, one man can pull the work of seven! Do as Corporal Kelly, but tie a second alpine after coming around the tree. Then take your running end through the far alpine and back through the near alpine, repeat until you have 3 or 4 windings. This works as a Block and Tackle, multiplying your effort at the cost of less movement. I use this trick to create stiff ridgelines while camping, and it could certainly be used here.

Shawn, you made that look easy, LOL! I know it isn't easy, but your training and practice gives you the proficiency to make it look easy. I imagine there are tricks you could employ to get an injured person across the ravine/river, or someone who's afraid of heights, etc. My first thought was something like a stretcher, suspended from the rope bridge with the incapacitated person strapped into it, towed behind someone crossing--or pulled across by someone who already crossed. Even if you had to make an improvised "stretcher" out of something like your 55-gallon drum liners & a frame--similar to the elevated beds you've made in previous videos. I can see it in my head, but I don't know if I'm explaining it well. In any case, great video! Thanks! --Dan
