This young man, Seun, has made a lot of sense in his submission. He’s certainly original and thinks outside the box. And fortunately, he’s able to backup his submission with reasoned judgement, explanation and example. Which goes to show he’s not parroting anybody. We want to import everything - in terms of approach to issues, examples, experience, project/program etc, wholesale from abroad without tinkering with them to fit the peculiar nature of our environment. Sometimes, our leaders and the government they lead can be so unthinking and unbearably silly in their approach and offerings. Eternal reign of mediocrity! And as Seun alluded, it’s only the poor masses that are always called upon to make the sacrifices. When will the highly placed ever sacrifice for Nigeria?

Social distancing and self isolation was created in a society where no one lacks water and Electricity and all the necessary basic amenities. Can u say the same about ur community? It was created in a society where there are no slums , can u say the same about urs? Last last Covid-19 will expose Africa/Nigeria and maybe force us to think. Seun Kuti God will continue to bless your Wisdom, You're truly the son of Late Fela Anikulapo Kuti!

Here in Germany, it is said don't go out, but it doesn't mean that we will not go out to buy food. people know that it is for their good not to go out,. but if they have need they go out solve their problems and needs then, go back home. No body is harassing them or treating them with out respect .if you are in your car, maybe with one person or two, you cover your face nobody will harass you. if you are walking alone, no body will harass you, because you are alone. So please the Government of Nigeria please try to understand what stay at home means. it means only, keep distant from one another and nothing more. you can move alone in your car. you can walk alone. make sure you are not too close to the other person. please let the poor live.

Please let's stop painting this picture of the UK being all clouds and fluffy bunnies, it's not. SylviasWorld But Oyin Nicholas didn’t say or suggest that we shouldn’t pay for light bills in Nigeria, if there’s electricity to use. If we even have the luxury of uninterrupted supply of electricity in Nigeria people will find ways to pay for how much they need or use. And that’s not to suggest that the UK is heaven on earth. The point I’m sure he’s making is, there’s uninterrupted supply of electricity in the UK. No need taking his comment out of context.

The government must have system in place that suits Nigerian people. Yes social distance has been practiced in Europe but that doesn't mean people didn't go out at all. The government should listen to seun kuti, he might be young but he is full with great knowledge .

If the government what to copy Europeans they should copy them in everything not only the one that will favour them (the Nigerian government). They did not copy the Europeans in building good hospital's, schools, roads and electricity but when its comes in locking down country they will come out to copy the Europeans, what a useless and demonic government. I live in (Bolzano) italy, food is enough and more cheaper now in the supermarket and the government is doing great in helping the people both citizens and foreigners.
