Peter has grew up a lot

I honestly think the best thing for Simon is to be with his dad right now. Leanne is all over the place and has a lot on, she needs to be focused on Oliver and herself. Simon also needs stability and support that I don't think Leanne is capable at the moment. Dear god Nick is annoying and useless, got his head up his backside and making things worse.

Simon has grown up a lot. And deals with his anger a better

Seems like instead of Simon having anger issues nick has them instead

I know Simon hurt Leanne in the past but I felt sorry for him at this point. Him and Leanne must of got close again and near enough got past the problems before. Simon has seen leanne as his mum for years as shes the nearest person hes had like that. I think it mostly hurt because of what she said about not having anybody. If worded better then I'm sure it would of been understood better ie if she had a biological child of her own as well as simon. Peter dealt with it the best out of the 3 adults. He understands leanne being upset and stuff with Oliver but also approached carefully about Simon so things could be half fixed. Nick over reacted with Peter and I'm glad Leanne had Peter's back for once over it all.

In my opinion, I think Simon Barlow is pretty overhated. I get a lot of people dislike him hitting Leanne and hurt her in the past. But he mostly feels like Leanne is the mother he always wanted nowadays. I get Leanne goes through a hard time because of the situation with Oliver but that kinda hurted when Leanne said that out of nowhere. Simon, Peter and Leanne and Oliver obviously deserves better. And Simon is one of my second favourite corrie characters besides Ken. Hell Simon even came to see Oliver in the hospital like the biggest step-brother he is. I don't really mind people hating Simon's character but still. At this point. Poor kid.

I'm also glad Peter is supporting Leanne at least. If he didn't then it would be a big loop through out the years with both of them hating each other. And I agree about Nick too. I think he's kinda causing beef at this point because of his anger issues and stress.

@@sunshinepoohbear1509 I fully agree that some of the things he has done were terrible but he has been held accountable and has stopped doing those things. Simon and the rest of the cobbles have moved past it, him and leane have definitely improved their relationship, therefore Simon has every right to be hurt by Leanne's comment.

Of course Peter will tell Leanne about the situation nick needs to chill out because Peter and Leanne are Simon’s parents
