Well, well, well … there’s a surprise! Max’s phone is dead, just like every other Corrie character’s phone when they really need it. God forbid he just go … somewhere, anywhere … and dial 999 and explain what’s going on. Nope, not Max. And of course, Lauren’s phone had a bad connection while talking to her Dad … amazing! ~ You can always count on the Coronation Street writers to ensure no cell phones will work during a dramatic, high intense scene.

Max saved everyone by telling them of the danger. The area could have easily been cleared of people. He should be commended for his virtuous efforts. Alyah, on the other hand, should be prosecuted for endangering lives by driving a bomb through the streets with no idea how many people she would be near when it exploded.

Kinda feel sorry for Lauren she don't what her dad really like she think her dad and his friends are good people, it must be hard when she been grow up with her dad and he one make to teach her right for wrong he not the dad she deserves she only young herself

Think this has got to be the worst written episode in the soaps History. Not the dialogue but the plot of the episode was awful

Totally agree .

I was dismayed last night to see Craig of the Yard waddling into the "terrorist" plot on Coronation Street - as if a copper would be allowed to work on his own street. The old granny who owns Speed Dahl gets more of a hag in every episode, and her granddaughter was especially stupid to drive a van with a bomb on it through the streets. I wonder they don't employ one of those old silent film pianists to wrench up the "drama" a bit more.

maybe if they listened to max and stop assuming he was at a wind then maybe they could have dealt with the bomb quicker and got the cops but no they just made out he was at it like he would benefit from it.

what reason did they have to believe Max or listen to him? Why should they have believed him just by his word and not thought it was a wind up to ruin the market? In their eyes ruining the peace market would have benefitted Max and his racist tangent

@@n.jboltz599 and what reason would max go around and lie about a flipping bomb being at the market when that would lead to a potential beating from Griff especially when spider was attacked the night before after undercover job was exposed. He isn't going to go from defending Griff every corner to start yelling he has planted a boom give me a break. They chose to not listen because everyone in that street love throwing shade and the moral code when nearly everyone have done way worse shit. Hell Gary prime example killed someone and beat up someone and was operating as a loan shark and maria literally covering him 2 prime examples of liars acting like butter won't melt. There ain't no excuse not to believe max or at least questioning their minds. It doesn't matter if you don't trust max or not what happened if max was just told to go away and didn't take his warning and they plotted on like nothing was happening and the bomb goes off at the market then who fault will that be oh yeah the street for not taking it seriously so don't give me the cop out excuse of why should they believe because max has nothing to gain from lying. Big difference being skeptical and just blowing someone off .

Wtf has happened tp coronation street

I think that this (story) line is awful especially in Manchester and the arena bombings when a Muslim suicidal bomber killed 22 people including children. Why are they doing this story line it must be upsetting for people who lost love ones.

because this shit happens in real life and they are doing this to raise awareness to let people know about children groomed into racist groups or are you one of these ones that want shows based on real life environments made into sunshine and rainbows ffs. And every soap puts out a disclaimer before the show starts to let people know that it can be triggering to some people and they decide if they want to watch or not, so no one that has lost loved ones can use the show as an excuse if they get upset because they had a warning but you snowflakes ignore the disclaimer and just run to ofcom and start demanding shows cancelled because everyone loves taking advantage of cancel culture
