Well, she’d probably heard the name, I say, she’d head the name, and didn’t know Fred was dead ( and had never seen him, I say, she’d never seen him.)

Why are people saying she flinched when she didn't? She pulled her arm away because she didn't want her Mum touching her. Either way I wouldn't be surprised if she is being abused by the way her mother said she will 'get it' if she hears another peep
